Nice sunny place, very nice staff

We played this golf course first on our camper tour in June 24. The previous phone call was very friendly, and you could also book your tee time through Campo golf (registration required).
The driving range is practically right next to the first hole, and there is also a putting/chipping green there. What struck us was that there were a lot of young people on the driving range - young talent is well supported here! Later in the round we also had a kind of taster course on hole 10 (we were allowed to play through quickly) where we were able to play a few holes with company (or watch). Teeing off in front of an audience on hole 10 was also something special.
The course itself is fairly flat (there aren't many mountains in this area) - and was varied throughout. Overall, an interesting layout, and the course was well maintained. The (rather slow) flight of four in front of us eventually let us through so that we could get onto the restaurant's terrace. Everything was quite cozy, the people were open and friendly, and we found the picture with Obama and the saying underneath very original and funny.
Changing rooms are great, showers too.
The delicious food from the small menu (changes were made on request) and the friendly service rounded off the offer positively.
We could have stayed overnight in the car park with our camper, but we decided to move on in the evening. We did meet a club member who likes to stay overnight there, especially during evening events, so it seems to be common practice.
We enjoyed it, but we were also lucky with the weather - it was very sunny and the round was fun!

Gladly again

It's still a bit early in the year for an objective assessment, but we really enjoyed the GC Göhrde in April. A classic parkland course with varied courses and some challenges for ambitious golfers too. The idea of creating 2x18 holes (blue course, white course) on the same terrain with differently positioned tees is remarkable and clever.

Length control and straight shots are essential for a good score here, unless you want to look for mushrooms in the forest. My favorite holes on the white course are the 2.8, 11,18

Absolutely visit

We, Hpc 16 and Hpc 18 have played this course and loved it. The condition of the system was great, the greens a bit slow, but with these temperatures of up to 30 degrees, they shouldn't be mowed so deep. The green fee price is OK, the staff is very friendly and the pro is competent. Be sure to stay in the bistro with a small menu and small prices. The food was great, plentiful and delicious. We have played this course twice and will definitely be back..
