Characteristics
As indicated by its name, this course is situated "in" the Nuremberg Reichswald. Its direct environment, a prominent population of old trees called "Steckalaswald" by the locals, leaves an impression even on those golfers who are used to a more open terrain. The course is suited for golfers of all levels, and even seasoned golfers hit the forest or one of the ponds every once in a while.

Amazing woodland course, a true classic.

Truly one of the most beautiful courses i played in Germany. A classic woodland course where all fairways a lined by old and tall trees, the whole course was cut into the forest decades ago. The atmosphere was amazing since the course feels like it has always been there.
The fairways are wide enough but don´t take chances if you are not a straight hitter. Balls leaving the fairway will easily find there ways deep into the trees. It becomes a true test if you play it off the white tees so it´s not a short course.
Again, the overall atmosphere ia amazing and the people we met where all very welcoming. If you´re visiting Nuremberg make sure to stop by.

Boring place. No signature holes. Very long and tight. But in very bad condition: tees, fairways and greens. Really miserable. How can something like that be a Leading Course? Located in the middle of nowhere. What I found most interesting was the close proximity to the airport and the carefree fawns on the tracks.
