Military Golf Course

This is one of the few Military Golf Course open to the public.
The course is dedicated to Lieutenant General Archie Old jr 1906-1984. He was in World War II as a pilot in Germany in use. As commander, he was the first to make a nonstop flight around the world on a B52.
The course is slightly elevated, from whose highest point you have a good view of the March Air Reserve Base. The March Field Air Museum is just off the Rwy. It was the main reason for the trip here. We - the men - once again wanted to see a B52, but most of all the SR71A Blackbird - the fastest aircraft in the world.
A must for golf aviators!!!
The holes are usually straight in the not very level terrain and are lined with many planted trees. The course has very good green - but today was slow. - He is in the play area very well maintained, off the side rather rustic.
