The golf course is situated in the beautiful nature reserve of the Upper Neckar Valley, in immediate vicinity to the picturesque town Sulzau. The protected landscape is here more than just scenery. It was integrated into the course and offers very special impressions, especially because of the Neckar River, which the fairways cross more than once.

Even the start of hole 1 is a challenge: the fairway slopes uphill and slopes. Unfortunately, the fairway is in poor condition, and so are the greens. Perhaps fungus? The holes are long. Fun for long hitters. You play across the Neckar River to the back nine. That gets your heart rate racing, but otherwise it's fun. With the Black Forest Plus card, you only pay a surcharge of €20 for the 18-hole course. That's fantastic.

Simply put, a very beautiful and challenging course. The first nine surprised with slopes and inclines, but are also relatively easy to manage on foot, as they are relatively short at 2500m. But then, the second nine: flat but long, very long and not boring. Several water, playing over the river, and long fairways. But we also play golf and need a bit of a challenge. Parkland with obstacles, so to speak. But that is precisely what makes the round so exciting. I am already looking forward to a second round so I can better appreciate and enjoy the finer points of the course.
