18-hole golf course on a 5.844-metre ground beautifully located in an open landscape near forest, in slightly undulating landscape overlooking Roskilde Fjord. The course also includes driving range, 9-hole course, an almost new clubhouse with restaurant.

Great course with challenges on almost every hole

The course appears rather straight forward with good sights of the pin for most holes, but the rough is really rough and makes it very exiting. As a medium to high handicap player this will test your gave. If you miss the fairway in the period from May to October then the high wilderness may cause you a drop or two. If it is windy then it is a fun tough course. Several holes has some pretty steep bunkers. In general as with many courses - if you dare to take risks then you have a lot to gain, but May also come to the club house a bit short if points.

In the late afternoon, the Secretariat was already closed. Thanks to the friendly club members, we finally managed to check in at the machine. Pleasant surprise: Pay and Play cost after 16: 00h have 100 DKR (12.50 euros) - the 18-hole course gabs for 200 DKR.
The 9-hole course is neat: new tee mats, Condition of fairways and greens very well. No short course - there is a good mix of par 3 and par 4 tracks. Unfortunately, the greens are very small and it lacks the distance markings. But please - Pay and Play is the top!

The Frederikssund Golf Course has not really what the name promises. Only from hole 17 you have a great view of the beautiful Roskilde Fjord.
