Established in 1891 near the grounds of a historic Victorian Hydro, Crieff Golf Club is rated as one of Scotland’s top inland destinations. The club boasts two distinct courses set amidst the spectacular Strathearn Valley. The championship Ferntower Course offers 18 holes of gently sloping parkland, providing wide fairways and breathtaking panoramic views suitable for all abilities. For a different challenge, the 9-hole Dornock Course incorporates original designs by Simpson and Braid, ideal for a shorter game. Supremely well-kept place in fatastischer environment

We played the 18-hole course in Crieff during our visit to the Open at St Andrews and were thrilled. The place offers for 35, - £ everything you can expect from a Scottish parkland course. The fairways were mowed as the best English football fields in a check pattern, the tee boxes and greens were also in perfect condition. The place is super embedded in the hummocky landscape and provides the desired challenges for all skill levels. The greens were very fast and have the difficulty of the course increased again. The holes were very varied, it was never boring us. Especially the second 9 - offer scenic views and again additionally great challenge even the most athletic discerning golfer. Overall, it was a perfect day of golf in a casual atmosphere.
