Characteristics

This 18-hole, par-71 golf course was designed by Manuel Piñero and has a gently sloping layout with an uneven relief. Players will find this a very technical course due to its narrow fairways and assorted hazards. The landscape features around the course include gentle slopes, avenues and lakes.

Nice, varied

Well maintained, good to walk, m. No need for a buggy in my opinion.
Restaurant a bit impersonal.

Resort square near Seville

Our mail request was answered after one day. IT problems were brought up as a delayed answer. The complex is quickly accessible from Seville by motorway and looks quite new and appealing. For 2 green fees with buggy we accepted the special offer for a total of EUR 99! The course starts the first hole with HCP 1 quite narrow and with water hazards. Front nine are in valleys, are quite narrow with lots of water and have some height differences (would take a buggy again). Back nine are more open and a little easier to play. Fairways and greens were in good condition and were cut. The safety nets for the villas have seen better days, but who needs them. The bunkers are earth-consistent, but they are the same on the whole course, so they have to be that way (there are also other places).
Conclusion: no outspoken beauty, but certainly ok for this price.

What a pity!

Unfortunately, our fears were. The first we were able to reserve the day before hardly a start time, since no one has taken the phone. This retort resort does not cater for guests. The place was in a desolate condition. I've rarely seen anything like it before. Completely desiccated fairways and bunkers that do not deserve the name. I have never seen such bunkers in my entire golfing career. All were full of weeds and an undefinable mass of clay and reddish earth. Most of the greens were wet and mushy because it was probably watered too long in the morning.
Too bad... for a layout that was not that bad.
The 45 euros for a round was itself not a big comfort.
