Not only is there a lot of temporary water on the fairways, but there are also many areas of more than 30 m² consisting of yellow sand.
A new track is being built next to track 3. Obviously, investments are being made in the course, including irrigation.
The first 7 holes of the red course are for warming up. There are no surprises. The layout is open and simple. You hardly lose any balls here.
The interesting part of the course starts from hole 8. For us, the highlight was hole 16, with a tee shot over a public road. However, this is protected by a wire cage.
We were very happy that the course was open, especially since you could sometimes feel “temporary water” under your feet on the greens.
The electric trolleys are made to a good DIY quality, but would hardly pass a VDE inspection. They are not worth the rental price of €15. There is no brake or straight-ahead drive.
The greens were in good condition. The pro shop and clubhouse are worth a visit.
