Claremorris Golf Club is an 18 hole parkland course situated in the heart of the West of Ireland and was designed by Irish International and Walker Cup player the late Tom Craddock Malahide who with Pat Ruddy also co-designed the world famous course at Druids Glen, Co Wicklow host to the Irish Open on many occasions. St Margaret's and Ballyliffin are other courses to benefit from his expertise as a designer.
Claremorris Golf Club has hosted many Provincial finals in its short time as an 18 hole course and recently played host to the Ladies U-23 All Ireland Championships.
Situated only 1 ½ miles from the town centre on the former estate of Lord Oranmore and Browne, Claremorris Golf Club is a spectacular par 73 layout measuring 6131 metres and has an idyllic setting with mature Oak, Ash and Elm a feature on many holes and with USGA spec sand based greens that are comparable to the best in the country.
Every hole has been crafted with precision boasting features that will test even the best players with a premium on accuracy if one is to score well.

We played here recently and were charmed by the hidden gem that is Claremorris golf course.. The Craddock design is such a complement to the local topography And the greens.. were top notch.. overall very enjoyable. hope to return someday

Condition of care probably also by the wet not good! Unmounted tees, greens and fairways. Greens were aerated, but there was no discount. For 30 € you can play better places in Ireland. Layout unspectacular.
