Characteristics
The club is situated behind the beautiful Montorfano-Lake in the sunny Brianza in an altitude of 450 m, where the landscape reminds of the one in Scotland. Even in the greatest heat of August you can play here quite comfortably. The course was built in 1926 by Peter Gannon. The 18 holes cross chestnut, birch and stone pine woods. The course is considered one of the most varied, but also one of the most difficult par 69-courses in Europe.

The course is beautiful, varied, and challenging. Each hole has its own character. The greens, unfortunately, are not always consistently fast, but they are good. The entire course has great charm, especially if you can appreciate the slight signs of wear and tear in the clubhouse and the lodge as a patina. The staff is friendly and competent. The restaurant and bar are also very good, if a little "dusty."

The course isn't easy to play, but overall it's a very nice facility, with well-maintained greens and fairways. The only downside is the price of a cart (€60), which is quite high, and an electric trolley (€30). A good pro shop, a beautiful old-style clubhouse with a terrace, and friendly staff. It had rained heavily, so the bunker sand had shrunk.
