Interesting Course
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 10, 2013
One of the better courses in Ligure. Short, narrow, with lots of elevation changes. Have played it twice in the last two weeks, and will play it again. Nice clubhouse and facilities, and friendly staff, and members. Great vistas of the hills and the sea. I think it's worth playing.

Winner of tradition and flair :-)!

Golf balls have been flying in the festival and casino city of Sanremo since 1923.
I've played pretty much all of the famous old courses in the South of France, but on Ligurian soil I was still missing the over 100-year-old Sanremo Course. When the sat nav says "you've reached your destination in 200m" after 5km through narrow streets and small hilly bends, you're pretty sure you've lost your way... :-)))! Suddenly, to your left, a large castle-like building appears, seemingly floating on a rock! The imposing Sanremo clubhouse, with the golf course stretching out to the right. The over 100-year-old doors squeak, as does the wooden staircase leading to the pro shop and caddy master. The course can be navigated on foot at any time, but a buggy is definitely worth it. Behind the large, wrought iron, 5m-high double gate lies the Sanremo parkland course, flanked by ancient trees. The tight 18-hole course was perfectly maintained and not the easiest to play! This old gem is the perfect complement to the venerable top trio of Garlenda, Rapallo, and Sanremo in Liguria! Enjoy a beer, wine, or coffee after a round on the huge terrace, high above Sanremo and the Mediterranean, a unique experience!
The venerable Sanremo Golf Club is the clear winner in Liguria in terms of tradition, flair, and charisma! Despite the potentially long journey, you simply have to play Sanremo at least once; the green fee of €65 for 18 holes is free!

"Mountain Course"

The place is not so easy to reach, as you have to climb the whole hill through the town
There, however, you have a good and interesting place, which has its faults.
The fairways are somewhat narrow, which requires more precise play (otherwise you get up the slopes!). The holes are varied and interesting to play

Worlds Best Spaghetti

The entry into the golf season to begin before Easter here.
Visually we liked course and club house. We started with the world's best Shaghettis for which we would go again several hundred kilometers.
Unfortunately we had overlooked that Tuesday actual day of rest on the pitch

Interesting challenge
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 9, 2014
A beautiful place with some quite difficult courses because the fairways are situated on the hillside and always fall off easily, so you have to lose one or the other ball. Who is not in top form, a cart should hire as there are quite wide and steep paths. Accuracy is required and precise game. Fast greens. Beautiful panorama either towards the mountains or the sea. The place despite navi From the highway has not been easy to find. Greenfee a week now 60 € per person and cart € 40.

Spring fever and golf
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 27, 2011
The eye is treated to a very well maintained course. Accuracy is required and you can leave the woods with a few exceptions in the bag. Who plays good long iron will have his pleasure. The greens were a little bumpy sometimes, perhaps due to the season. Discount 15 was difficult to find. Overall, I can highly recommend the place.

The golf course is in fact very sophisticated, beautifully situated, but the highway noise is the tee for 9 bit disturbing. I also took over the conduct of the employees, my wife, because she had broken her leg, could move only with difficulty with their crutches, unfriendly because she was offered no help.

Have fun

A very challenging but wonderfully located place with permanent sea view. Hilly and partly narrow fairways demand high performance accuracy. Highly recommended.
