1ST TIME ON CERRADO

Having only recently taken up Golf, I was nervous to play this course for the 1st time. So far I had only played 9 holes on Mijas Golf 3 times, Noria Golf 9 Holes once and Alhaurin Golf 9 holes 3 times (Very difficult and short) .

This is a local course and I wanted to try all my local options. We arrived and I found the Starter very friendly and helpful, I was worried that there was people still on the T at our start time and people waiting behind.

He reassured us that it was a relaxing course and nobody would hassle us and it was true. I really enjoyed my game and probably played my best shots since starting in November.

The price was reasonable € 30,00 per person for 9 holes and the course was in excellent shape compared to others.

The course was different and very challenging, but this was the 1st time. I am sure next time it will get easier.

High recommend for beginners, although I chose to walk with a manual buggy and the uphill tracks are very challenging, so maybe use an electric cart.

Poor clubhouse maintenance lets it down

A challenging 9 hole full length course with several really testing holes. Hole 2 - is a really great par 5 with an approach over a lake to make the knees wobble! Hole 3 is a long dog leg with another lake crossing approach. Any points scored on either of those two holes will be well deserved. Good format with 2xpar 5’s, 4 x par 4’s and 3 x par 3’’s.

However, what let’s the resort down is the really poor maintenance in the men’s changing room/toilets. Several cubicles seem to be permanently out of order, others have broken/missing toilet seats and the driers and towel dispensers downstairs are always “out of order”!

A real shame because the club house generally is very impressive and the course is scenic, enjoyable and quite challenging.

Surprizingly good!

My son and I played this 9 hole course on the day we were flying back after we had played Alhaurin and Anoreta the previous two days. I am a high handicapper and my 15 year old son plays off 2. Course was in excellent condition with water playin a part in 4 holes. Every hole has something unique about it and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Clubhouse and changing facilities excellent. We were charged €52 for 2 x 9 holes inc buggy and tapas which we exchanged for drinks at bar. Will definitely play again!

attractive 9-hole course

very varied 9-hole course on fairly hilly terrain with a few blind obstacles. good condition. the greens were in good shape, but unfortunately almost without undulation and therefore not very challenging.
nevertheless: all in all it is definitely worth a round, at 33 € / 9 holes (without buggy). the place can be made on foot without any problems.
lower 4 * middle field.
the 19th hole is also worth a stop in culinary terms.

Very beautiful.

It is a somewhat remote 9-hole course, please do not confuse it with the Academy courses that are often found here! This is a real golf course! With 5504 m of yellow, the course is not excessively long, but has 2 par 5, one uphill 502 m with island green (!) One 555m from yellow slightly downhill, you have to swing a good trowel to reach the GIR! The course is nicely laid out and very well maintained, the par 4 with about 300, the par 3 with 120-150m easily accessible, you can play your HC here. many places with great views to the sea. Everything was great, and then € 35 off-season with a buggy, that is impressive. - The small pro shop too, the rest was still closed due to Corona. Very happy to have Hasta luego!

Bad treatment by the marsals

In two different days bad experiences, with a marsal one day and with another the next time. Police control and rude treatment. Maybe because of the fact that they do not speak Spanish, they do it in English and shouting, after presenting a complaint to those responsible, they did not pay me any attention.
Dirty toilets and urinals damaged and out of order as well as broken toilet lids and no towels for showering. In general, bad impression and difficulty to play the second rounds at the stipulated time.

Change of holes

First: very nice and well-kept place. Better to play with Cart, since some reductions but are very high in the hills. For longer haircuts you should already very straight games because of the impact of the ball is not visible.
Apparently, the numbers of the reductions have been changed. So my golf vacation at tee 1 (Par4) indicated a distance to the green from 650 m. Tee 1 was earlier probably tee 8. Taking this into account, the respective distances can be easily read.

Cute 9 hole course plays well.

Were there (He HCP -5, -18 you) is well maintained and you can play quietly when in the area in June 2016th Sorry, no towels in the showers, which is otherwise standard.
Buggy not necessarily ntwendig but practical.

Super

This place is very nice for a 9 hole course. It has varied tracks and getting a great view of the surroundings. The most beautiful is the hole 9, in front of the green lurks the pond. We keep coming back here. The place is very well maintained.
