Completely underrated golf course

The place is a bit hidden for tourists, as there's no helpful website. If you don't want to call (due to the language barrier), you're pretty much limited to just driving by, like we did. It was surprisingly busy for a typical Thursday. Nevertheless, we managed to find someone at reception who spoke English, then a start time, and even two electric trolleys.
The course rating suggests an easy course. That's absolutely not the case. The fairways are often narrow, there are plenty of trees that can come into play, the greens are challenging and often have one or more sides that are very sloping, so you really have to hit them. But that's not so easy, because they were lightning fast. A decent score on a first round is hardly achievable. However, many holes are very interesting.
The course was in excellent condition. There was practically no rough, but there were a few out-of-bounds sections. And if there's no rough to slow you down, your ball can easily go astray. That's exactly what happened to us a couple of times. On the other hand, we almost never had to search for our balls. Even under the trees, with a bit of luck, you can usually find any ball again.
We really enjoyed the campsite. And at €52 including an electric trolley, the price is more than fair.

Lush green everywhere. Beautiful old trees. Both fairways and greens are in top condition. Varied courses. The greens are super interesting. The staff are very friendly and the green fees are very moderate considering the condition of the course. An absolute recommendation.
