King’s Island Golf Club is a 36 hole golf resort in the outskirts of Hanoi and one of the most scenic course in North Vietnam. The golf resort lies on the shores of the Dong Mo reservoir 36 kilometers from Hanoi. In a uniquely Vietnamese touch, access to the course is by boat.
There are two 18 hole courses. Firstly, the Lakeside course opened in 1993 followed by the Mountainview course opening in 2004. Kings' Island became the first 36 hole facility in northern Vietnam.

We played the Kings Course. Interesting design, OK condition, green speed good. We were a flight of 4 and 2 of our wives wanted to accompany us on the course. That would cost an unbelievable €70 per person!!! Non-player! Simply completely outrageous. Then we got to the range. In 30 degrees in the shade we each just wanted to hit one ball. The guy sitting there was rude, incredibly unfriendly and wanted us each to buy 100 balls. They would cost a whopping €18. Unbridled rip-off! We teed off straight away. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

You take the boat to the opposite side and is taken because of the caddies in reception. Unfortunately, it is also difficult to communicate with the caddies, because you speak only Vietnamesich. But give yourself very hard and are very friendly.
It has two 18 hole courses, which are very well maintained.
The layout is varied and I think for every level Hdcp a challenge.
The clubhouse is one of the finest that we have seen in North Vietnam.
The dressing rooms of the women are exceptionally well all right, what usually was not the case, unfortunately, at the other places.
The restaurant has a good menu and reasonable prices. The food was good. It has Vietnamese dishes as well as International.
The pro shop is ok, but the selection is not overwhelming here.
All in all it was a really great day of golf for us.
