Characteristics
The 9-hole golf course at the Bernstein Acamed Resort in Neugattersleben is considered one of the most beautiful and challenging in central Germany. Golf lovers appreciate the course with par 72 for its unique location directly at the Schachtsee, surrounded by old forest. Thanks to a playing distance of 9 holes, both novice golfers trying out the course and real professionals with intensive training will get their money's worth. A driving range with 20 teeing grounds invites new golfers to discover golf for themselves. Narrow fairways, bunkers and ponds offer experienced players a welcome challenge. A pitching and putting green as well as an experienced pro are available to players.

Unfortunately we cannot give ZERO stars.
The condition of this 'golf course' is awful and a disgrace.
7 of the 9 fairways are not maintained and almost unplayable.
7 of the 9 greens are also almost unplayable and seriously devoid of grass - the bald patches are filled with sand.
We visited last week (in September, when the condition should be at its best).
And yet Bernstein Hotels falsely claims:
" "Your golf experience at the Acamed Resort The golf course is... considered one of the most beautiful and challenging in Central Germany.
The well-kept green and gentle fairways of the 9-hole par 72 course can also be used if you are not a hotel guest."
Definitely NOT recommended.
Will Bernstein Hotels do the same if they take over the Meisdorf golf course?
