Characteristics
The first part of the course, opnened in 1976, stretches only 3 km away from the sea over hilly terrain. The narrow fairwas and small greens demand a precise game. The second part on the other hand is significantly more openly arranged and equipped with generous greens.

Played on September 7th, 2021 The slightly hilly 18-hole course (cart definitely recommended for those who are not so sporty) is located a few kilometers west of the Andalusian town of Huelva, a little inland. The signage to the place is very good. In contrast to the neighboring complex “La Monacilla”, the residential area through which the railways meander is more or less fully built. The buildings are more noticeable in the background and so you play through peace and nature. The lanes are often lined with tall pine or pine trees. These are often in the middle of the fairway and require strategic play. The many bunkers, with fine white sand, are also well placed as a challenge. Otherwise there are a few doglegs and you should pay attention to the exclusions. There are hardly any major water hazards except at 16. If then there are streams that have dried up. Some increased tees, for example directly from the first tee, in mostly open fairways certainly increase the joy of playing even with higher HCs. In contrast to the neighboring site, the condition was very good. If the driving range still looks dry when you approach it, you will find almost perfect fairways on the course with no foreign growth and also very green. Bunker great, tees not worn and the greens without blame, but hard, fast and faithful. If you want to criticize something, it is the occasional missing or uneven cart paths between the tees. So far the best overall condition on our trip through the region. The game on a sunny Tuesday afternoon was also manageable here. We had reserved a start time by email and very quickly received a confirmation with the desired time. An online reservation via the homepage is unfortunately not possible. We were there a little ahead of time and could start playing straight away and had no one 18 holes in front of or behind us. We saw a maximum of one or two more flights on the square. I would describe the green fee of € 86 for two people including cart that we paid as very cheap. There was probably a discount for whatever. But even the regular green fee in the high season according to the homepage is absolutely fine. There are also “Early Morning / Sundowner” or combined green fees with cart. The cart was perfect (but without GPS), it came with two bottles of water and two pieces of small lemon cake. The clubhouse with restaurant (not used) makes a good impression. The registration at the reception takes place at least currently in a container in front of the clubhouse. The employee there was just as friendly as the caddy master who provided us with the cart. All in all, an absolute recommendation to play here.

On arrival you can already see deficits in the care. The reception and a small pro shop in the container, but a nice reception. Green fee for 2 with buggy € 95 - fully ok. The compact golf course is hilly and looks neglected in some areas. But - the greens were good and fast, the bunkers were well maintained and the fairways were mostly good. Due to the many rains in the past few days, some transitions to the next train were soaked. The tees were not in good condition. There are several clean toilets on the square. In the end there were only sandwiches in the restaurant, but they were great. The service was friendly here too. We will be back.
