A round of Golf

We played the course on Monday with a tee time at 11:00 am.

The course itself is beautiful, and we played the Red and Blue nines. The scenery is truly outstanding and made the round very enjoyable.

Unfortunately, our experience at reception was disappointing. The welcome felt rather unfriendly—more like “pay and go” than genuine hospitality. Considering the green fee of £110 per person, we expected at least a brief explanation of the two nine-hole courses we were scheduled to play.

After the first nine holes, we suddenly found ourselves behind two four-balls, which caused a significant delay. None of the players acknowledged us with a simple greeting, which added to the feeling that visiting golfers may not be particularly welcome.

Despite these disappointments, we thoroughly enjoyed the spectacular setting. When we return to Bournemouth, I think I’ll simply walk along the public footpath beside the course and enjoy the wonderful natural surroundings instead.

Very nice costal course

The 27-hole course is predominantly designed as a links course. It is spacious, but still very varied and enjoyable to play.

Great courses in immaculate condition. You can see the sea and the Isle of Wight on a regular basis.

The price of 90 GBP is steep though! We played the "evening rate", which means you get the round for half the price. We think that's a really fair deal and that's why it's 5*! Hcp14

Who the view of the sea like :-)

The place is beautifully situated directly on the sea, which can be seen from almost every fairway from. The place is not easy to play, because the wind conditions can be pretty intense. 500 yard par 5, second blow with iron 8's Green :-) - With headwinds but unfortunately also the "opposite" :-(
Otherwise, unsurprisingly. Who like to see the sea while playing is served here well.
