Unusual and quite attractive golf course
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed December 11, 2025
The Bangpakong Golf & Country Club is is also called the EGAT golf course, because the property is owned by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).
It is a 9 hole-Golf Course but with different tee boxes and flag positions. First you play 9 holes off the yellow tees to yellow flags on the greens and then another 9 holes off the red tees to red flags on the greens. Gives you the impression of playing 18 different holes.
The course is along the power plant, with some fairways pretty close to some sections of the power plant.
Makes it a quite unusual golf course.
Flat course with plenty of water ditches and ponds. Many trees, plants, bushes. Well maintained.
Fast greens.
All in all good quality.
The club facilities, though, are quite simple.
Very reasonable prices but you must pay cash.
Greenfee: 18 holes THB 950 incl Caddy Fee, Cart Fee + 400 THB Caddy Tip. Had a male caddy.
All in all an unusual and quite attractive course.
Pleasant 9 holes

Friendly members, pleasant 9 hole course but unhelpful office staff. Although they offer a seniors package I was 15 minutes after the cut off time for this rate after a long trip but they wanted to charge full rate even though only 5 other cars in car park.
It is a 9 hole course but if you want to play 9 holes you can only play after 3pm, very silly.
