Ballyheigue Castle Golf Club was opened in 1996. The course is situated on mature woodland surrounding the Eighteenth Century castle in Ballyheigue. The castle was built on a phased basis by the Crosbies and subsequently owned by the Leen family, Ballyheigue.
The course is situated 8 miles from Tralee Golf Club and 10 miles from Ballybunion Golf Club.

Of many holes you have a great view of the mile long beach and the Dingle Peninsula. In some cases there is also the old ruin in sight, which is integrated into the system.
