Characteristics
Designed by Marco croze this course of cherasco is one of the longest ones in Italy. It is situated on the bank of the river Tanaro in an area which is called Langhe. The climate here is rather wet, extraordinary and very exciting. A land of vineyards, where the small of truffles hangs in the air. The biggest difficulty of this course are the narrow fairways that call for a precise game.

Fine golfcourse

2019.06.05 Hole 2 was under reconstruction, but then we payed 40 instead of 50 euros for 18 holes. Nice fairways but the grass next to the fairways was high enough to hide our balls. The greens were wellkept and challenging but slow like the internet and the food in this area ;-). Only few people speak English.

A disappointing day for golf :-(
Shame on this otherwise beautiful golf course: why isn't it better maintained and managed?
Despite the fantastic weather, we find the car park practically empty, yet 8 players are ready for the same tee time: the office is incapable of scheduling a half-empty court :-(
The tee boxes and fairways are disastrous; what's the difference between First Cut and Semi Cut?
The condition of the bunker is absolutely unacceptable, as is the state of maintenance of the rest of the site!
The greens can only be rated as adequate to good :-)
At €80, it's an absolute rip-off for what is actually a nice facility: the board urgently needs to review the books, why such a deplorable state of affairs :-(
Two days earlier we played at GC Le Betulle: perfect conditions and green-keeping!
GC Cherasco, please stop by and learn a lot!
Therefore, an absolute warning against this place!!!
The only highlight after the round is the restaurant: highly recommended :-)

We're traveling through Piedmont in our campervan and discovered the Cherasco Golf Club near Alba. The course is in excellent condition, beautifully integrated into the landscape with lush fairways and fast greens. It's a fun course with its challenges, including several water hazards scattered throughout.
What really pleased us was the fact that we were allowed to stay overnight in our campervan in the parking lot without any hassle, including using the sanitary facilities. We even received a separate key to access the grounds later in the evening! Hospitality at its best! The fact that they also accepted the Golfamore card, meaning I only had to pay €40 instead of €80, made the whole experience even better. Definitely visit and play if you're in the area. I played on May 16,2026.
