As the last course on our southwest Marrakech trip, we played the Tony Jacklin - Argan GC Course (after Montgomerie, we had absolutely no expectations!!!). We always played in groups of eight; one group played holes 1-9 and the other 10-18. The development around the perimeter is, for Morocco, about 80% high-quality and well-designed! During our visit, the fairways and tees were impeccably maintained, and the greens were almost better than at Assoufid and Royal Palm! Perfectly fine for an evening round. 400 MAD for 18 holes and 200 MAD for 9 holes. 3 stars. The clubhouse is just okay for a quick drink after the round!

Played on the course on January 23rd, 2025. Very friendly reception, which offered me a discount in advance without asking; that should have set off alarm bells!
And that's exactly how it was: I went on the round completely alone, surrounded by construction sites on practically every hole. The fairways were covered in weeds and in some places were barely recognizable. Only the greens were still in acceptable condition: slow but true to track.
The bunkers were simply holes in the ground with practically no sand. The layout didn't offer much either. There were hardly any differences in height or other variations. Only the signature hole 16 stood out. A beautiful island green.
I was also the only guest in the restaurant, which has a very futuristic design.
In my opinion there are better places in Marrakech
