Beautiful course

Much better conditions than Feb 2019. Now in very good conditions. Nice layout and very challenging. Beautiful view on Arcos de la Frontera. Nice and fast green. Golf cart not in very good conditions. Very few golfers on the course. Very good experience, Thanks Arcos Golf! Played in Feb 2020

Very nice place BUT the condition is very poor.

As described in the other posts, the infrastructure has indeed become somewhat neglected due to the two bankruptcies and now resembles a "lost place". It's obvious everywhere that money is lacking. There's no food service, no towels, and showers are available, but only if you bring your own towel.

At the same time, the course is beautifully nestled in the hilly landscape of Arcos. The holes are challenging and very attractively designed. The major drawback, however, is that due to a lack of maintenance, there are many holes in the fairways (caused by animals) and some also in the greens, although the greens were still in relatively good condition.
The greens and fairways were freshly mowed. We don't really need to talk about bunkers anymore, as sand is often no longer present and the bunker floor is frequently indistinguishable from the hard, bare ground of the surrounding area.

We still found the course worth playing. The fairways were in good condition, apart from the holes. The greens were also playable, except for a few holes, although you sometimes have to move a ball because there's a hole on the putting line.

Be sure to reserve buggies or trolleys in advance, as there are currently only a few buggies and trolleys available.

We sincerely hope that a new investor will be found who will bring the place up to scratch, because it would be a real gem.
