Played in early September 2024 in autumnally cool and windy conditions.
The course has some differences in altitude. Right on hole 1, it goes steeply uphill. Then 4 holes on a large plateau before the infamous hole 5 leads downhill again. Hole 6 is steeply uphill again. 7 + 8 on the level before it goes downhill again to the clubhouse for the finale.
As others have aptly described, the course is in good condition. We can also recommend the Bank Hotel in Anstruther as accommodation and the restaurant in the clubhouse.

Anstruther - Golf Club Golf Club is approximately 15 minutes from St Andrews. Even if he only has 9 holes, some of which also cross, he still knew how to inspire. The course is very well maintained and offers beautiful views of the sea from all lanes. Since some holes run along the cliffs, a precise game is required here. Hole 5 (The Rockies) in particular is a spectacular hole, voted Britain's hardest par 3 in 2007.
The course is in good condition and both members and staff were very friendly. For £25 this place is definitely worth a detour.

Crisp and beautiful

04/12/2017, a beautiful 9 hole course. The fantastic views of the Forth and the coast can distract from the game. Due to the location of the terrace with wind plays here forever. Here one of the most beautiful and the most difficult par 3 of the UK is offered. The clubhouse is simple but beautiful overlooking Arnstruther and harbor. The greens could be a little better, but inexpensive and very sympathetic.
