Not a bad course in itself, a bit hilly and definitely has its own peculiarities. The clubhouse is OK, in my opinion it is sufficient for what it is supposed to be. The secretariat was already fairly rated in a previous review, I agree with that.
Now we come to the big negative point, which in my opinion led to this rating. Currently in calendar week 25, the course is in a really bad condition. The greens have lots of worn spots and don't look particularly well maintained. The roughs are sometimes shin-high and in some cases even hip-high. This means that the ball can't be found as soon as it's not in the fairway. Now we come to the fairways, in some places almost entire flowerbeds are blooming, especially on number 1. You can't see your ball on the fairway from the tee because of all the white flowers and white mushrooms. I would even go so far as to say that the name fairway is no longer appropriate. I don't know what the problem is, maybe they need more staff or simply better machines.
I think the machines are broken, but from the looks of things they've probably been broken for a while and the golf course just needs a replacement. So that's not an excuse for me.
I would recommend the Ingolstädter Platz in the area, it is a bit more expensive but the golf experience there is definitely worth the extra cost.

First of all, please allow us to point out that in all our publications we speak of natural fairways, which means that we avoid the use of herbicides, etc., far more than is legally permitted. We also try to embody the harmony of golf and nature on our golf course.
Unfortunately, in some areas, particularly on holes 1 and 2, we have a large population of white clover (not flowerbeds!). This can, naturally, only be controlled to a limited extent by mowing. However, we are already working on solving this small problem. Our greens are also somewhat heavily used. We have also worked successfully on this and have already largely found a solution.
Our fairways (fairways and semi-roughs) are at least 60 m wide and max. 2 to 10 cm high. With a strategy appropriate to your own playing ability, you can play them excellently and successfully. But even the author of these lines does not always succeed. In addition, we have recommended three tees (yellow, red and green) for men and women on each fairway. This means that you will find optimal conditions depending on your own playing ability, provided you correctly assess your own possibilities here too.
The roughs they designate are natural areas for biodiversity on our course and provide a visual enrichment in every respect. Regardless of this, these areas are all marked with red pegs. So if the ball goes astray, a penalty stroke applies and the fun continues.
You are wrong about the faulty mower. We have several machines and mow many times a week and continuously. Nevertheless, with this year's weather, it is not always possible to do everything perfectly and immediately. We ourselves regret this the most, but we are delighted with the beautiful vegetation.
Unfortunately, you have not mentioned the excellent conditions we have here, namely being able to play a nice, stress-free round of golf at any time and at a reasonable price, without a tee time or pressure. Quite interesting 9-hole course in the Altmühltal with a few inclines and moderate inclines, which offers a certain variety.
20 euros GF for 9 holes with an Albrecht voucher, there is nothing to complain about. You should be able to deal with inclines, otherwise it will be difficult. Those who can take the topology into account when choosing a club have a clear advantage.
The place is in good condition, only the tea boxes looked a bit badly damaged. If you go back one or two club lengths, that's no problem either.
Outstanding (as strange as that may sound ...) was the first-class semi-rough, it helped to keep balls hit from the center reliably on the track, but made the next shot more difficult due to the very dense grass. Even play is rewarded, a certain dispersion is punished, but not immediately with loss of the ball. That's how it should be.
What was a bit bothered, were the quite different speeds of the greens. You never really got used to putting.
The highlights come at the end. Hole 8 - a really robust, looong (500+ meters of yellow) par 5 with a fairway that slopes steadily to the right. Keeping to the left is not a solution either, there is forest. If you have reached the green, depending on the position of the flag, the two-putt is far from secured. Whoever plays par or at least bogey has achieved something. Hole 9 - a short par 4 with a right-angled dogleg, which invites you to take a short cut over medium-high trees. If it works, you only have a short pitch on the green, if it doesn't work, you can see the result on the scorecard, especially since the green is protected by an appealing water hazard.
Secretariat and gastro are a bit simple, but everything was available, the drink after the round was available for little money for self-service from the refrigerator. The restaurant was closed, Corona is not over yet and continues to restrict the processes.
Without exception, the members we met were friendly and helpful. So we were immediately informed when we wanted to turn wrongly on the sometimes long connecting paths between the individual railways out of ignorance.
All in all a place that few people have on their radar - we only came across it by chance ( "where can we quickly play a short round on the way home near the A9") - but it is definitely worth a detour.
It does not offer absolutely unforgettable experiences, but if you are in the area you should not ignore it but pay a visit.
Overall, a good place, and good means 4 stars that it deserves.
