I have got to admit this is truly a great golf course most enjoyable 18 holes well under 4 hours greens and fairways are in tremendous condition it's a must play, 10 out of 10

Just had the pleasure of looking at the Golf course. Definately a must play if you are in the area. Typical great Nicklaus Design set in a stunning environment. Cant wait for it to open in December.

Anyone who played the course years ago, like us, will be completely astounded at what has become of the then hidden, extremely poor pro shop on the main road. Now, in a completely different location, directly next to the driving range, stands a super-modern, extremely well-maintained building with everything you need... and more: a chic restaurant, a beautiful outdoor terrace, a very well-equipped pro shop, spotlessly clean wash/shower/changing rooms, and top-notch service, from check-in at the counter, to the provision of practice balls, to the golf carts, the thoughtful starter... to the diligent attendant in the lockers, to club cleaning, and finally, to taxi booking. Everything worked perfectly here (!), with competent and extremely friendly staff. There's even an outdoor pool - with lifeguards - available for use. Wow! The course was in great condition at the beginning of February 2025, just as we knew it. The flights played quickly and the starter/marshall had the feeling that his role required him to give faster flights the priority they needed to keep the game flowing for everyone and to maintain a chance of completing the 18 holes before/at sunset - even with a later twilight tee time. It worked out perfectly for us. We were also credited with Troon Member Points for each round. If you don't manage to get the number of birdies you were hoping for, you still have the opportunity to observe all kinds of real birds, from kingfishers to pelicans and from flamingos to hoopoes and many more. The fiery red sunsets were wonderful to watch from the terrace. The green fees are (still) comparatively inexpensive, and the lagoon landscape is beautiful, very green, even if not spectacular. Compared to the heavily remodeled Al Hamra Course in RAK, Al Zorah is a treat for the eyes and the soul. It's currently our favorite place in the UAE. You can stay in luxury not only at the nearby Oberoi, but also at The Chedi Al Bait in Sharjah. The journey to Al Zorah takes about 30 minutes by taxi.

Played on March 17,2025. The 18-hole (PAR 72) Alzorah Golf Club course is located about 30 kilometers north of Dubai International Airport in the Emirate of Ajman. The signage to the club could be improved. Many of my predecessors have already described the course in detail, and I can confirm their impressions: The course design is outstanding, the condition of the maintenance is first-class. The service is impeccable from start to finish – from valet parking to the starter who explains everything. Golf bags are collected directly in front of the clubhouse, and the cart, equipped with a GPS and small towels, is ready and waiting. The clubhouse itself is luxurious and modern, with high-quality changing rooms. Snacks and drinks are delivered directly to the course. In addition, there are free water stations at each hole where you can refill your own bottle. There is another service station on the back nine. Dining options include a terrace restaurant with an infinity pool overlooking the course. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to eat there due to time constraints. However, the warm sandwich we enjoyed during our round was delicious – if not exactly cheap. A quick tip: A visit to the upper terrace via the outside stairs is worthwhile, as from there you have a fantastic panoramic view of the course. The golf course itself is surrounded by construction projects – both villas and apartment buildings are being built, and the entire "Alzorah" district is still under development. One can't help but wonder who will live here one day. Despite the construction activity, the course exudes a pleasant tranquility, which is mainly due to the mangroves that stretch through large parts of the course. A few flamingos and waterfowl further enhance the natural experience – so don't forget your camera. Players with higher handicaps will also find themselves well-adjusted here, as most tees are open and there is little high rough. Men usually tee off from the golden tees; there are four teeing options in total. The bunkers are strategically placed and pose a certain challenge, as do the water hazards and mangrove areas. The greatest difficulty, however, is the fast, undulating greens. A tee time can be easily booked online via the club website. The regular green fee from Monday to Thursday is a high €172, but from 1:30 p.m. there is an attractive sundowner rate of €70. Holders of a Troon Executive Card can play for €95. On weekends (Friday to Sunday), the prices are even higher. The green fee includes both the use of the cart and range balls. The fee is debited two days before the start of play, with an additional AED 10.50 being added on site for the golf association. Compared to the golf courses in Dubai, the atmosphere here seems much more relaxed. We were able to complete our round in pairs, with no time pressure from either side – overall, the course was pleasantly empty. The service in the pro shop was also excellent: The employee was just as friendly as the entire staff and even put aside a phone call to serve us. After the round, you receive a satisfaction survey via email. Even though there are more spectacular golf courses in the world, I can wholeheartedly recommend a round at Alzorah Golf Club.

For the first time I have criticism at a Nicklaus Design Course! The care is spotless, why were 4-5 tees placed in the mangroves instead of 2-3 island greens and only 2-3 tee boxes. Would make the place much more spectacular!
The strong course is missing 2-3 highlights, two par 3 island greens and a par 4 or par 5 with island green would change that!
Nevertheless, I give the only course in the smallest emirate of Ajman 5 stars! Because care, design, service and the landscape are extremely strong!

The flat course impresses with excellent course maintenance, fairway carpets, great tee boxes that were partly built into the mangrove waters, many beautiful bunkers and great, undulating and relatively fast greens.
Why only 4 stars? For me, the system does not appear to be completely "round". From the secretariat you drive with the buggy over the bridges of the mangrove waters and next to the whole place until you get to the driving range or to tee 1 and after the round you go all the way back. The clubhouse is also not what you are used to from Dubai.
The place is nice, but I missed the highlights.
This place with the many jetties and the tee boxes built into the water must have cost a lot of money.
Nice hole 2 and 17, I didn't like hole 11 at all, some of which seemed unfinished to me.

Super design by Nicklaus and nicely inserted into the mangrove area. Extremely well maintained fairways and excellent greens. Some water hazards, but fair to play for all leagues, great teas. The clubhouse is still under construction, but the temporary is in a good building with restaurants. Everything works very well and well organized, as usual by Troon. Very helpful and nice staff. This place you have to play and is not as crowded as Dubai Creek, etc., on the contrary: currently play a few flights daily. Costs are also okay, especially as a guest at the Zraumhotel Oberoi.
