Safety First

We caught out with Thunder and Lightning on this course. There was no warning beforehand and there was no shelters all through the course.
Golf balls were flying, wild over head. It was over crowded and A round took 5 hours or more. There were no benches to sit and wait. Not any water tabs visible for drink-water.
To my opinion, the place is only interested in taking but not giving back.
I am disappointed.

Dissapointed

I was looking forward to this as played at other Marriott golf resorts around the world so usually a good bet. Alas was not great. Holes challenging and different, greens in poor condition with marks etc and looks like some parts cut to close. I've played better public courses in the UK. Staff also not helpful or friendly, in fact quite rude. Balls flying around everywhere, with no warning shouts so will not be going back... Played 18 and was stuck behind a 4 ball (I was in a 2 ball) so was steady, then after 9 a 2 ball appeared from no-where and started in front of us..

Nice course.

Played La Sella and found a very nice course i the La Sella valley. A nice parkland course with some narrow short par 4 holes, they really needed some thoughts were you should put your ball in play.
Had a nice round of golf with some nice Swedes who showed us the way on the course. Nice clubhouse and restaurant also.

Dissapointment

Organised a lesson plus eighteen holes with a few friends and we were all very disappointed. We had a very overpriced group lesson with Dino Ferrer who was clueless and a very poor teacher. Then we waited 45 mins after our tee time just to be greeted by a five and a half hour round. The starters had no idea about what they were doing. All in all it was a complete waste of money!

Not the easiest!

Great course with spectacular scenery. In 2 parts, the front nine which was the original course has mainly narrow fairways and quite demanding for the average player. It is split on 2 sides of the tram line which is crossed via a tunnel. The back nine is much more open with water on 3 holes although not particular easy. There are barrancas running through these fairways although they only carry water after the infrequent rains.

New 9 holes expected to be ready the beginning of 2010 with 4 lakes joined by barrancas.

Bring plenty of time

Played on October 17,2023. Even if a prescriber sees the place getting better and better, he just won't. I also played the course every 5 years. Realistically speaking, more than 3 stars are simply not possible. The golf club won't care if higher expectations - sometimes with 5 stars - are raised. It is full - and this with 5 hours of playing time and 110.-- green fee. Fairway and greens are ok. Bunkers slightly different. Almost all fairways run parallel to at least one other fairway without any particular highlights. Balls sometimes end up on the wrong side, especially on the open lanes.

The best on the Costa Blanca

In 1993 we stood on the driving range for the first time, which at that time still stretched parallel to the CV-735, before years later the Marriott was placed there.
We not only acquired our license to play there and enjoyed many hours on the range with the trainers and on the beautiful and always very well-kept course in front of the breathtaking backdrop of our local mountain Montgó, but also received the complete (further) development in almost 30 years in Spain this plant with. There was never anything to complain about; maintaining such a high standard for such a long time is a testament to professionalism, quality and competence in every respect. We miss our "home" a lot. Be sure to try it!

Nice parkland course, but...

To play a nice pleasant place with a small flaw. As usual, I had booked the tee time including carts via golf-service Marbella. When redeeming the vouchers, we had to pay for the carts again even though they were listed on the voucher. Reason: It is said that carts can never be reserved in advance using a voucher. According to golf-service Marbella there is a written confirmation of the carts. Esperemos y veamos.

Diverse, well cared for

Beautiful, varied and in parts also challenging course. Can also be played several times, because the three 9-hole courses can be easily combined.

Good place state

The site workers did a great job.
Paths have been expanded, greens, tees and fairways have been greatly improved.
With a green fee of €90, you expect that too.

Good organization, nice staff, very attentive service in the restaurant.

Other golf

We have played the course several times since 2019. Unfortunately, the condition of the place has not improved. The fairways have no grass as we are used to. It's either very short and unusually felty or it's bare earth. The tea boxes are also often bare bottom. The greens go. The organization is ok. I mean, you don't have to play the course.

Excellent condition

We have been playing here for over 20 years - place, as always, fully booked.

We have seldom played the course in such good condition.
A lot of work was done on the ground.
Better signs, many new paths made.

Greens in very good condition despite many rainy days beforehand.
Green fee € 100 at the upper limit.

Overburdened starter

Care condition good.
Interesting, varied and sometimes quite difficult tracks. The place was very busy. Since my allocated flight partners started already 1 hour earlier, I was traveling as a single player. I was scheduled with another single player, 45 min after my tee time. The game partner had already played 9 holes and left me after 9 lanes. After that, I had to play as a single-player for almost 3 hours behind a Schneckenvierer.

Is ok

We played all three courses. The design of the fairways was varied. The season owed the fairways were quite uneven. The greens were not objectionable. The gastronomy is good as in almost all Spanish club houses.
Overall, a place that you can play again.

Very well-maintained practice facility and greens

Golf La Sella Very well-maintained practice course and greens We play yellow / green (Llebeig / Mestral), because red (Gregal) is locked. The two "old" courses yellow and red are next to each other, green is north-east located with partial sea view and has a different characteristic. There are also the paths between the trains continue.
We (Hcp 18/35) play in December, it is quite quiet on the grounds.
The service in the shop is very nice, we spontaneously buy golf shoes. The Caddy Master is also friendly. The grass on the range is more like a huge green, everything is cut perfectly short, I have not seen it like this. The exercise greens at the clubhouse are also perfect, like a rug.
The first 9 (yellow) are very neat with nice design. The second 9 you have to look first, the 1 green is in the middle of the practice area, which is very generous. From the 2 it goes into a "new" area, you play great in the direction of the Mediterranean Sea with great views. Later, you have to go backwards several laps to reach the respective tea. Not so nice.
The club house terrace is also very nice and the staff friendly.

Very good overall package

There are 3x 9 holes, where the variant red yellow is the most interesting. All holes are very well laid out by the design, but the holes are very short. Fairways and greens were in very good condition. We had the impression that the place is very well booked. We were still finished in 3 hours 20. Nice shop, professional caddy master. Again any time!

Cleanliness

Course you can play. However, one should take water and a cloth to clean his balls can. The water in the Ballwaschern is so dirty and smelly, which is not only a risk for their own health but also for the balls.

Fully booked

Despite the 27 hole very crowded.
Before us a 4 he Flight without knowledge of the rules we (as 3p Flight) played 17 holes in 5 hours 40 minutes afterwards.
The greens were ruined by not lifting the feet of our predecessors... Putten presented no joy.
The whole thing for 80 € per person and € 40 for a buggy.
Place is very beautiful despite the adversities. Simply created class. Great views over again to the Montgo and Denia Bay.
Always a pleasure...

Can you play when you're in the neighborhood

The courses in this region are generally not a reason for a special golf stay. La Sella also is no exception.

The fairways all three courses were ok, the greens too hard or too little on track. The design is appealing, which we liked best the latest Course (Mestral / green).

Operation was brisk yet. Starting procedure messy, progress rather tedious.

In the restaurant the service was just enough and unherzlich. Absolutely no recommendation.

Conclusion: if you eh there, making a round of sense. Extra go I would not.

Mestral

Golf: The newer 9 holes of this 27-hole course is due to the lack Altbaumbestandes created wide open and allow far more aggressive game off the tee.
For complicating however beautiful ponds and river crossings coming back into play.

Place Status: Any good at everything.

Conclusion: Beautiful views in all directions. The planted relatively young trees need of course a time to make the paths visually better to separate.

Again enjoyed playing

The "old holes" still have their charm.
The new 9 holes have continued to improve.

Wonderful day on beautiful golf course.
Greens, tees and fairways despite many "feet" in very good condition. Bunker also.

Very well stocked pro shop, catering service is in need of improvement.

Our favorite place in the region!

Always playing nice again

The "new holes" are better from year to year. When the subsoil locally knowledge know you appreciate how much effort it cost. Kudos to the Greenkeeper.
The "old holes" are in very good condition, ways could be improved on, played by us holes.

Very well stocked pro shop. Terrace overlooking 3 holes always nice as a conclusion.
We had a relaxing round.

One does not play

Did south of Valencia four different golf courses and played this golf course is in last place. Pro shop and starter and restaurants very friendly that's ok But the golf course is nice between mature trees and beautiful views, but the paths on the side are in poor condition, so that the buggy has to be reduced in speed and is.
Green fee too expensive.

Llebeig, gregale

Golf Course:
The old 18 lanes this 27-hole course is beautifully located in a small valley surrounded by pine forests created. The fairways are usually quite narrow, which requires precise tactical game.

Location status:
Was in order. Of course, because of the season It also reflects bald spots again and again.

Conclusion:
Despite the immediate access to the hotel grounds, a quiet round by the old trees in total solitude is possible.

Great Place

Very interesting, is not easy to play space (red / yellow).
The new 9 holes (green) are very open and completely different.
Everything very well maintained and in spite of many people is a fluid game mode!
I always enjoy returning to La Sella.

OK

Played in March 2013. Even the driveway is difficult because very badly signposted (in the region you need a GPS in your car anyway). We were allowed to play, Red, Yellow, what is the better option because the 3rd Nine, seen adjacent made a very desolate appearance. Some very beautiful and challenging holes created by the two crosses to a depot and a road and arrived at 4 zig zag moderately landscaped holes are clearly filler. Good was the place from the 7, and rising to the spectacular final hole. That it is a hotel room, very good greens. Nice clubhouse terrace 7 My teammates agreed to 3 stars, with a little more effort in the optical Aufhübschung it would have been enough for fourth

'll Be back!

Interestingly, varied-to-play course, many trees and fast, strongly undulating greens. The place was the end of July despite the drought in good condition. Very courteous staff, which even at high space occupancy (came alone on Saturday morning at 9:30 h) a flight with the same handicap players Category compiled.

Like!

It has 3 times 9 holes and these are made every day together. In part, rather narrow in old trees. We see mostly no electric trolleys and buggies and this is a good thing, since it is rather flat, you do not go too. Price is rather high at 75 euros.

Tourist place

Very open Course, fairways that run partly in parallel and without visual difference, you can see up to 5-6 fairways at the same time.
Played end of Sept. 11, the growth of grass on the fairways was lacking.

Very nice place

This place must be played tactically and very precise. Narrow fairways and greens super fast! The new 9 holes I could play again. Also very nice but much easier as the old 18 Summary: Great place, nice staff and a great location make this game a great event! Love to go back!
