Characteristics
The Golfclub Zollmühle is one of the scenically most beautiful and one of the most varied courses in Middle Franconia. It is situated in the middle of idyllic Rezat Valley between Ellingen and Pleinfeld at the edge of the new Franconian lake region. The hilly terrain with an old stock of trees makes for a varied game.It is first and foremost the natural water hazards and the sloping positions that challenge the golfer.

Attracted by the multitude of sensational reviews, we played the golf course. The course is really varied, but doesn't play in the big 5 star league. The greens were really fast for the time of year. The street noise was disturbing, and for the first time on the 13, it couldn't be heard. This is where the adjacent railway line came into play. I found the unraked bunker on 11 annoying. Thank you for the unsportsmanlike behavior. The shot-up men's tees on all the long holes are a mystery to me, even though there is grass seed everywhere. In my opinion you can use it then. I found the shower particularly annoying, as I needed my own towel.

We had a wonderful day of golf. The place was in top condition and is very idyllic. Overall very varied, but also spacious. So if you have trouble walking you should think about a cart.
In the restaurant there are little things from pizza to tarte flambée to Brettljause. The prices are very pleasant (large wheat 3.60). The large motorhome parking space is available to green fee players free of charge.
