Characteristics

The center arose 2004/2005 within the city limits of Berlin, the 18-hole golf course, the 9-hole course on the flow and a 3-hole practice course. In 2010, our resort has been extended by an additional 6-hole short course, so that the Golf Resort Berlin Pankow now has over 36 playable hole.

The patron of the Golf Resort Berlin Pankow is the famous goalkeeper Sepp Maier.

Due to the easy accessibility of the center of Berlin by car, train or bus, the cost to host players and members and by the extensive range of play opportunities across the entire facility, we hope to provide an attractive addition to the golfers in Berlin.

Guest players from other golf clubs and golf player without a club membership are warmly welcome.

Tee times are not required. For larger groups we ask for telephone registration .

Terrible greens

Since the beginning of the 2023 season, I have played the 18 and 9 holes on the river several times and unfortunately have to note with regret that the courses are being offered in increasingly poor condition.
Apparently no one pays any attention to pitch marks anymore. The players obviously lack insight and, above all, control.
And if the greens are freshly sanded, I expect information at the checkout.
Full green fees are simply outrageous!!!

Lots going on in Pankow

Played on February 12,2022, both the 18-hole Sepp Maier course and the 9-hole course on the river. After 2015 I was on the course for the second time and initially played the 9-hole course (PAR 30 / 6x PAR3,3x PAR4). To the first tee of the 9-hole course, you walk a few meters (well signposted). The six PAR 3 for men are 102 to 192m long. The 6 with 192m and the water next to the green is certainly the most exciting here. The 9 (PAR 4) has a 90 degree dogleg and is the most interesting track from my point of view. Otherwise, the small space is certainly more suitable for practicing or for beginners. Behind the 9-hole course, a little further down the path, is the 6-hole short course. I had already described the 18-hole course in 2015. The decisive change is that lane 10 has now apparently been extended and, at 634m for the men, is a PAR 6. Lanes 7,8, 11 and 12 are very appealing, where water sometimes comes into play. The 12 (newly created PAR 3) is played on a much higher green. You can not only end the round after 9 holes, but also after 13, as it ends near the clubhouse. Lanes 14 to 17 then go around the outside of the 9-hole course again. The game was very busy on a cold but sunny Saturday afternoon. There are no start times. You come, pay and join the game. In the afternoon the operation then decreases a bit. Nevertheless, I started at 1:15 p.m. and needed more than 4 hours for the 18-hole round, because unfortunately there were also four-man flights, which allowed themselves all the time in the world, but also could not be played through. If you got too close to them, you got angry looks. As far as the maintenance condition is concerned, it was seasonally appropriate. However, the greens had a massive mushroom and various bare and uneven spots on both courses and unfortunately an extremely large number of pitch marks that had not been repaired. Probably a result of the high level of play and that is also played on summer greens in winter. The men's tees were from mats, the women could at least use the rule tees on the large square. Despite these circumstances, the regular green fee was charged. With €68 at least on the weekend, I think it's at the maximum limit and a discount would have been appropriate. The 9-hole round on the Fliess course is also a sporty price at €33 on the weekend. The staff in the pro shop were friendly. The prefabricated building ruins that were still visible in 2015 are no longer there. The green fee machine is still there. There is also a restaurant at the club (not used).

Beautiful place in super condition despite drought!

Played on 08/09/2019, Happy Friday Tournament, Hcp 11,0, SpV 13, sunny.
Have played the course ever 2014, then also a tournament.
The registration did not work over the phone, but since I was there before the registration deadline, it was still on site.
The welcome was nice and friendly and a briefing was on demand. Greenfee + tournament with 60 € goes fine, range balls with 1 or 2 € possible.
The training facilities are very nice and sufficiently available. Nice putting green, pitching area with bunker and driving range, here no discounts from the lawn possible, only mats, a shame!
The tees were good, the fairways despite dryness in great condition and the greens almost immaculate.
The tracks are not boring in my view, strategically created moats, bunkers and doglegs make the game interesting.
With Birdiebook and signage one finds oneself well to right.
The gastronomy can be recommended and have good prices.
Conclusion:
Come again, great golf day and thank you to my flight partner Josef, Ivo and Daniel!
