4.0 out of 5 stars Spartan facilities but a great natural golf course June 20, 2011 By golf a lot

I have been playing for over a year here on regular basis.
First thing that shocks the first time visitors is the absence of a clubhouse or even a proper toilet. The reception is in a container like box! But do not be put off by your first impressions because the staff members are super friendly and the golf course it self is surprisingly attractive, especially the second half.

The course layout is rather challenging with thick, un-accessible forests on your right and often water hazards on your left. This course will severely punish slicers because any ball that lands in the forest won’t be found again. Hilly ground will seldom make you hit your second shots on a flat, levelled plane. Greens are equally challenging especially on return.

Currently, a great looking wooden club house in under construction and will be finished soon. The golf course has a great practice facilities and a large practice range with more than 300 yards deep ground. The practice range tee boxes are located in a beautifully designed structure with roof so you can practice hitting balls in most weather conditions.

4.0 out of 5 stars Challenging course with a relatively hilly landscape May 12, 2010 By feelfree

"Golf de Saint Marc" is a challenging course with its share of hilly landscape (specially the back nine) and water ponds. It is located at about a 30 minutes drive from Paris, which makes it a good venue for people who want to practice their game on the driving range or putting greens.
