Characteristics
Situated in the scenic Fribourg countryside, Golf Club Vuissens offers a tranquil escape centered around a magnificent 13th-century castle. Designed by architect Jeremy Pern, the 18-hole championship course (Par 72) winds through a secluded valley adorned with mature forests and a meandering natural river. The layout balances technical challenges with the beauty of nature. The experience is completed by the clubhouse and restaurant "A votre goût," housed in the beautifully renovated castle barn, offering a unique historic atmosphere.

Well maintained golf with very nice landscape and beautifull clubhouse.
Some nice technical hole, with difficult green, but well maintained and great to play.

The rural landscape and the many old farms as well as the small castle on the golf course create a special picture even before you reach tee 1 on the extremely busy course.
The course undoubtedly has a championship layout and claims to be a championship course.
For me, the highly praised course was simply a bit too monotonous. Sure, there are a few exciting holes, but the rest is just bushes and shrubs.
The restaurant, the clubhouse and pro shop, modernly installed in the ancient barn, are all of the finest quality.
Still, I only give it 3.5 stars, but everyone has different tastes...

Great place, slightly hilly. No two holes are the same. Maintenance condition 1A. Difficult to play in June as the relatively narrow semi-rough is followed by meters of high grass. The solution for less precise golfers, take enough balls with you.
