Characteristics
The course is situated east of Freiburg in the Dreisam valley.
The course was set up on level terrain and is framed by the mountains of the southern Black Forest. The terrific population of old trees lend a park-like character to the course, and the small streams touching or crossing through it provide quite a few challenges for golfers.

Beautiful place with lots of trees and park-like character. Varied by many rivers which cross the tracks. Challenging through some narrow fairways.
The place offers some shady spots even at high summer weather. That was was the first but not the last time...
