Characteristics
The Cornelia Golf Club is located on the out-skirts of Belek, at the Turkish Riviera. Antalya is about 30 km in the West.
The course is called after the mother of Publius Scipio Africanus, who defeated Hannibal in the second Punic War. Designed by Nick Faldo this quite difficult course is ingrained in a forrest.

Personally, I had never played a Nick Faldo and have to say: GREAT! A real gem, athletic sophisticated with the already described sloping fairways, but still great. Drives must match, otherwise you take the narrow fairways and excellent rare. Green leave nothing to be desired, fast, loyal, very well maintained. A hammer clubhouse with excellent pro shop and friendly people. Even the buggy bar came 4 times over to provide us with drinks.
The characteristics of the course differs significantly from the others in Belek from - at least of those that we have played so far. Almost every hole is to play from tees terrace, the greens time partially increased and almost all fairways are ondoliert. There are some really beautiful doglegs into the forest, not visible from the tee. All this combined with beautiful trees makes this place certainly one of the best visual Parkland Courses in Belek!
