Characteristics
This is the second course of the Club zur Vahr. Founded in 1963, it is younger then its "brother" but nevertheless an impressive 18-hole championship course which hosted the German Open a few times. A dense forest lines the narrow fairways and defines the character of this course.

Unfortunately, it does not stop, the Secretariat of its opening times. The restaurant closed at 18:00 clock the door (stupid if you have to wait for his loved ones that are still on the round). The food is good, the restaurant prices are reasonable.
Clubhouse and secreteriat are simple, but good.

The information boards are useless because any distance information is missing on the many paths to small imaged. Which is a shame in this challenging course. Attention, the wooden stairs at some elevated tees are extremely dangerous (very slippery). 90% of the tracks run through narrow forest aisles (which makes the place so "sophisticated"). Service, nil. The secreteriat was not occupied as described in Opening hours. What a pity! So, no Birdie book at hand. The panels on the tee are a joke! Mini pictures without removing any information on Striking points. The restaurant had closed the doors at 18:00 clock :-( food and prices are ok.
To the place: very challenging, the greens are ok, fairways in places super wet. Attention, the wooden podium at some elevated tee are dangerous (very slippery). Almost all trains passing through forest aisles, gets boring.
Mozzie protection means (for insect bites) while having! There are plenty of tech-fly!
The green fee is unreasonably high for as an average place.
