Robert Trent Jones Sr. has here created on a flat area, mostly overgrown with stocks of stone pines, a master piece of the Portuguese golf sport. Maintained beautiful place top

We played the course on 23/04/12 and found it in top condition before. The greens are super fast and very well maintained, which was true also for the fairways. The tracks are very varied created with interesting par 3 tracks. What was not so good, is the routing of tea to tea, here you cross other paths and to be careful that you do not mind the game. Is just an old ingrown place, but you should play the essential. The club house is very modern and overpriced the drinks, beer € 6, therefore also very poorly attended.
We lived on the square, Onyria Golf and Spa, highly recommended.

The condition of the course (played on 31.8.2011) was very good, I could not find dried fairways etc. before, and the greens were in top condition. The holes are varied, but the routing between the tracks is sometimes confusing when the place (like me) has never played. Lane 1 does not start - as someone posted in 2009 - at the driving range, but at the clubhouse next to the newly built hotel. The driving range - as is usually quite expensive in Portugal with 4 € per basket balls - is so far away again at level 11 Tip: there is a sunset from 15.30 tariff for € 47.50. Until the end of September for this low price you can play 18 holes and that's a really good price for this place. From October it would be to dark quickly, so the discounted price then probably only enough for 9 holes.
