Played this course with my 2 old friends twice in Sept 09.
On both visits we were treated like second class golfers.The greens staff were rude and unhelpfull, while playing their signature hole the 15th, i spoke with the head green keeper about what club to use and was tolf to F**K Off to back where ever we came from and that we were not welcome. The club pro was the only plus point of the day he was helpful.
The course was a mess, bunkers not raked rubbish bins full of empty drinks cans and bottles.
The greens were poor,the fairways were the worst i have seen in 40 years of golf.
The Clubhouse was smelly, the restaurant was untidy and the food was very average.
So in a nut shell course is over priced €35 was the fee both times, its not worth €15 at the most. We all agreed we would never go back and we want to warn anyone thinking about playing Tipperary to avoid it at all the costs.
Its quite clear to us , the management committee of the course is second rate, we played Ballykisteen just 3k down the road it was far superior and we were welcomed by James the manager in person and could not do enough for us on our day there.
So take our word it Tipperary Golf Club is nothing more than a dump
