Established in 1970, Viborg Golfklub offers a rich golfing experience rooted in history and varied landscapes. The centerpiece is the 27-hole championship facility, a unique layout shaped by three distinct architects: Jan Sederholm, Frederik Dreyer, and Michael Traasdahl Møller. This collaboration has resulted in a course that blends classic design elements with modern challenges, utilizing the undulating terrain effectively. In addition to the main loops, the club features a 9-hole Pay & Play course open to all skill levels, occasionally offering scenic glimpses of the historic cathedral. The club is home to the award-winning Restaurant GOMA, providing a high-quality culinary finish to the day alongside extensive practice areas and indoor simulators.

Viborg (yellow / red) is a very varied golf course. There are ingrown and open lanes, in addition to fairly flat lanes it also went up and down. The partly wide fairways contribute to a good round. Only the greens were a bit soft and therefore slower because it had been raining all night. Nevertheless, they were on track and easy to put. A good eye was needed here, because the greens were undulating. The course and especially the bunkers were in excellent condition. This meant that nothing stood in the way of an enjoyable round of golf.
