I played it in February 2010 when our ship docked at the port of Ushuaia, Argentina after cruising Antartica waters.

We played the course on January 12th, 2024.
The rental clubs were ready at 10 a.m. exactly on time.
The first few holes are easy to play, but from the second half onwards after a short break in the clubhouse it became more interesting.
The aim was to hit between the stream and trees.

After the round you get the certificate for the southernmost golf game - and it was worth it.
We were lucky that the usual rough wind had calmed down this morning.

I played the course in early December 2022. A must when in Ushuaia. It really is the southernmost golf course on earth.
Although it was played in December (it's summer there then), snowstorms alternated with sunshine. Tierra del Fuego is also very varied in terms of climate...
The place is easy to reach by taxi.
The 9 tracks are very varied and worthwhile. While the first three lanes are rather wide and flat, lane 5 requires you to play through trees. In order to find the right tee, the pro came by and showed me the way. A stream hungry for golf balls meanders through the last lanes...
In terms of landscape, the course is very well embedded in a mountain landscape.
The rental clubs you get there are new sets, so it's not a hodgepodge.
If you write to Pro Guillermo (who has been in charge of the course for around 25 years) a few days in advance, the right golf set will be ready.
After the round you will also receive a certificate that you have played a round on the southernmost course.
After the lap, Guillermo was also helpful enough to drive me back to Ushuaia, as there was currently no taxi available.
