mighty golf in every aspect

this golf course delivers a fantastic golf experience. not only the landscape is impressive, also the layout. great shots, and tricky greens, all inclusive!
located at the westside of a mountain, one has to fight side slopes on the fairways and one has to cover a lot of elevation. a good guess is at least 400m of hight all together.
one thing you have to know in advance: there are often long ways between the greens and the t-boxes, maybe 3 km to cover in addition.
still: an experience absolutely not to be missed – if walking prepare your fitness, it's going to be real sport.

A very beautiful and exciting course, beautifully nestled in the landscape, very interesting to play, no two holes are alike. Quiet and uncrowded. Kilos of blackberries are available for snacks along the way. A cart is an advantage, as it's very hilly and there are sometimes long paths between holes. Very friendly staff.

Outstanding and challenging golf course

We played the course at the beginning of August and were thrilled with the course. The condition of the course was good, with only a few bare patches on the back 9. Some of the individual holes were magnificent to play, especially holes 4 and 5, which are visually stunning in their length and undulating fairways. The view of the surrounding mountains is also spectacular.
The reception, both on the phone and on site, was very friendly. However, we were glad we had taken a cart, as the long walks and some steep climbs are not to be underestimated.
The only downside was the very hard sand in some bunkers; if that were fixed, the course would be even better.
Definitely a golf course that will leave a positive impression. Highly recommended.

This golf course offers views of the surrounding mountain landscape, which - if necessary - makes you forget your sometimes mediocre golf game. The course is very playable. The 1 (blind tee for the men) and the 2 (tee over the water to a peninsula green) may be intimidating, but it gets easier :-) The stand is rarely straight, but the holes are not overly long. The men's tees are often blind, however.
We played at the beginning of June, the fairways were very soft as it had obviously rained a lot beforehand. The greens were in very good condition, maybe a little slow.
I would definitely recommend an electric cart: the course is very spacious and the paths between the holes are long. There are also massive ups and downs. (The paths for the cart are not always well signposted and sometimes not very intuitive.)
We skipped the restaurant because the service didn't seem very motivated. However, the woman at the golf reception was extremely friendly and helpful.
We paid € 145 for 2 green fees and 1 e-cart, which is expensive for northern Spain, but definitely justified for this exceptional course.

But: A challenging design, very well kept greens and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
