Pleasant, flat course with good facilities

An 18-hole golf course with good training facilities was built along the Hron River north of the Sliač spa, close to Banská Bystrica and Zvolen cities.
The first nine holes were built along the river, are varied, offer nice scenery and plenty of water hazards and trees. Another 9 holes were added on almost flat terrain, which are more links-style, with almost no trees, but are monotonous and relatively boring. Overall, the course is a mix of these two types, but since the character alternates, it seems quite interesting as a whole.
The quality of the course and its maintenance are good and are definitely improving overall. However, the biggest improvement has been made to the course facilities – a nice, high-quality clubhouse with a restaurant has been built, and the accommodation directly on the premises has also received good reviews.
As there is a lack of golfing opportunities in the region, the course is definitely worth a visit. Nothing exceptional, but definitely enjoyable.
Friendly 18 hole course and friendly people

On my business trip I had chance to play this course. Its located close to Sliac airport and I had the opportunity to see Slovak Air Forces jets taking off. When I arrived It was pouring dogs and cats, but than like miracle I found 3 hours rain free spot so I jump in. First hole really got me. I lost 2 balls slicing them to driving but than it started. Birdie and bogeys and some pars. Shot 14 over. To evaluate course I would split it in 3rds. 1/3 is great the holes with trees. 1/3 is average. 1/3 is boring new holes, no tall trees or bushes yet. Maintanance of course is a quite OK greens were bit slow thanks to rainy weather. Teeboxes could be more flat but can survive. Best thing there was 19th hole ;) good food very pleasant staff and very helpful. Felt like member. Amenities like putting, chipping driving are close so thumb up for that as well. I have to admit and highlight owners that they have skills to sell average course for premium money. Fee was a bit higher compare similar courses in Czech. Anywaithanks for hospitality. I’ll be back one day.
