Characteristics
The course is situated only a few minutes away from Bad Tölz, embedded in a magnificent mountain scenery. Apart from its nice, sportive terrain it also offers various training possibilities. The hilly terrain makes for an interesting routing of the courses and it is partly lined by an old stock of trees.

Even though the course and facilities are under construction we had a great round (2x).
The course was well kept and fun despite the rain being strong the last few days. Very enjoyable.

Greens in desolate condition

I played golf here for the first time last weekend (August 23,2025). We played the back 9 holes.
The course itself is very beautiful and quiet, and the layout of the holes is also very challenging.
However, the greens are currently in such a disastrous condition that I can't give them more than 2 stars. Hole after hole, the greens feel like half of them are brown, and ball control on the green is almost impossible. For this reason, the green fee is currently reduced to €27 for 9 holes and €40 for 18 holes. For those who want to play a 9- or 18-hole course at a reasonable price, this is a good option. For the more demanding golfer who appreciates well-maintained greens, this is probably not the right choice.

The course is not directly in the mountains but south of the 1st foothills of the Alps, Blomberg, which, at 1200 m altitude and due to the distance from the valley, cannot cast any shadows.
It's hilly in parts but not very steep for walking. No chamois place. We played with tote bag.
Already at hole 1 you tee off with a view down to Tölz. Hammer!
However, the place hides from the people and is very idyllic. Each lane has an interesting layout with enough distance to the others. You feel alone. Start times do not have to be assigned, probably because there is not much going on. The greens are modulated, cut short and are fun although ravens? some had hacked holes in it and burned something. Except for the tees, everything is wonderfully green.
But what is absolutely missing is a hole description when you play for the first time. Since no distances are given, you don't know which club to use. Will the drive be too long? where are the bunkers, where do the ponds begin, where is the end? With Golfuhr, which was confused at the beginning, things then went a bit.
I'm only ambivalent about the 8th hole, you can play it as a par 6 or par 5. I played it as a par 6 (my 1st) because at 660m it was only 100m longer than par 5. After the long drive, there are many good obstacles, so it's not possible to make wild lengths by beating them up. Drive and then 4 irons, 2 putts.
My knowledge par 6 is nonsense for me. Hole 9 after a dreamy longer forest path, a short par 4 with a tee off from a mat was then again... great!
