First of all, I love Pete Dye's course design. So of course I had to play Teeth of the Dog and Dye fore and it was just a pleasure, every single hole. I was given Matteo as a caddy (mandatory for the round, along with a buggy) and it was really enriching. Always good for a tip and the way he always pulled the right club out of the bag after just a few meters and watching my first swings was really impressive. I've only had the same experience once before when I played the Harbour Town Golf Links and was also assigned such a TOP caddy.
Both courses are certainly worth a lot, both in terms of price (8, if you can get a special fare through the hotel, just ask) and in terms of the challenge. Playing your handicap here is almost impossible, but it's definitely good for an enjoyable holiday round. I had a lot of fun and will always remember this course as one of my top 10 courses.

We played all three courses in Casa de Campo in October 2022. You are excellent! Teeth of the Dog is partially oceanfront with breathtaking views and exciting holes.
The condition is perfect. The driving range is a dream. A week just at the driving range wouldn't be boring.

We played all three courses (Dye Fore / the Links / Theeth of the Dog) twice from 17.-22.10.22.
All faireways and greens were in perfect condition. The bunkers were more difficult to play due to the fine sand, but the caddy - as on the greens - ensures that these were always in an even condition.
Worth mentioning is certainly the unusual view along the sea, which stands out in Teeth of the Dog.
When staying at the resort, rounds are about 40% cheaper.
Since October 22, all courses have to be played with a caddy, which costs $50 per cart.
