One of the most beautiful in europe

I have played hundreds of golfcourses throughout the world, and this is one of the most beautiful. The condition of the course (juli 2017) is very good: lush fairways and fast greens. Also the staff are very friendy. I love to come back.

It's fun and too expensive

I can agree with some of the previous speakers. The place greets you with a simple reception where I was given friendly advice. There is no clubhouse, but there is a changing room. There is a cheap vending machine for drinks and you can also sit there. No restaurant.

Driving range on mats and uphill. There are a few shaded pitches. Nothing great. Putting green ok.

If, like me, you play in mid-June when it's over 30 degrees, you're crazy not to book a cart here. Many and very steep meters in altitude. The ride with the cart was adventurous and more of an enduro race. Did the challenge add something else? On most holes you can get the driver out well if you tee off under 250 meters like me. If you don't hit the fairway, the ball may be gone.

Greens in good condition and surprisingly soft and rather slow. Fairway okay, had a few holes, but is also rather dry here at this time. Don't forget the repellent, some strange critters came by. My favorite hole was the 8 where you have to submit in front of a steep drop off. The Par3s were mostly fun too.

I enjoyed it but it cost me 120 euros. Since you can't actually play here without a cart, that's too much if you want to play more often. That's why the place was almost empty. I think with better prices there would be more going on. I would put together packages like this, green fee and shared buggy around 80, that would certainly be justified and then the golf tourists would come.

The place deserves it. With its view it is really very beautiful.

For sporty golfers!

I played the first 9 holes on 5/30/22 because the back nine are supposed to be less challenging and less spectacular. But the front nine really have it all. Although the course is not long, it is quite tricky for a high handicapper like me (HCP 26). Pretty tight drive (or rather fairway wood) landing zones that cost me a few balls. Several discounts are greatly increased, so you can make beautiful discounts in the valley. But not without first enjoying the really spectacular view. It is best to always have your smartphone at hand. And - if you play like me in the midday sun - definitely (!) use a cart. Without a cart, the course can only be recommended to extremely athletic golfers. But even when driving a cart, you should still be a bit careful here.
The club doesn't have any gastronomy, but it does have a small pro shop and several vending machines. The service was extremely friendly and uncomplicated. Surprisingly, the entrance to the club is not signposted at all, so you can drive past it quickly on the main road.

Many slopes

On September 20,2021 we (HCP 11 and 9) played this course on our Womo tour. The course is quite mountainous and requires a good level of fitness, but it is still possible to play with hand trolleys. There were only mats on the DR. At each tee there is a board with information about the course. The fairways were good, but partly brown and earthy. Greens were slow and very soft. The water hazards have partially dried up, but there are some well-placed bunkers. The restaurant consists of self-service machines. There was little activity on the site.

Great, really recommendable

We played the course on 1.10.2018.
After a slightly longer journey (175 km) we were very gespsnnt.
What we encountered was great, from registration, very friendly to the place, all very well.
The place is located fantastically on the coast, has varied tracks, sometimes down, sometimes up, with many slopes.
All fairways and greens were in excellent condition.
The staff was very friendly overall, we like to come back.

Challenging beautiful course with always great views of the sea

Per:
+ Many tees have spectacular views of the sea, sometimes on 3 different sides eg the 17th hole.
+ Very demanding by the sometimes very narrow fairways and the intelligently placed obstacles, but also by the many height differences, especially on the front 9, Golf Cart recommended ;-)
+ Greens in very good condition
+ Very varied
+ Very friendly and helpful staff (I repaired the bike of my trolley for free.)
+ Driving range is covered and has shade. Due to the upward position, you can easily train the upwards play that you often need on the course.

con:
- Unfortunately, no restaurant, but at least drinks and snacks for snacks available.

We were satisfied!

Have played the space on 21.09.2017. The place was well maintained and the staff was super friendly. We could choose a starting time, since not much was happening! Everything very relaxed! The sea view was perfect!
The only thing we missed was the clubhouse or a place where you could still enjoy the view with a coffee. You could only offer us a vending machine (without window).
But if you want more to the sporting activity, I can recommend the place!

Pity

We played at the beginning of June 2017. Technically, he is very demanding. Above all the first 9 holes a uphill and downhill.
The Greene were OK. The fairways unfortunately too neglected. The staff was very friendly.

There is still a lot to be done

I played this place on Monday 22-5-17. (Flight in thre) One sees the place that this longer time was closed because there remains still a lot to do. A few spectacular holes such as the 8, where one is presented by yellow with an iron and then plays blindly from the top down to the green or as with the 15 you play with an iron 8 from a high plateau to the green. If you do not reach this at 15, you land in the water or the scrub. Apart from different wonderful views to the sea and that the greens were in an excellent condition and very fast there is not much positive. Every tee-off requires maintenance because these look like a potato field and this certainly also depends on undisciplined players. The fairways are dry, neglected and it is difficult to differentiate where this starts or catches. My wife drove with an e buggy where the front tires no longer showed a profile and the brakes left with this up and down to be desired. We had a round two days later to play a round but looked after the first round of it. I wish the new operator, however, good luck as it will certainly not simply bring this course back to Vordermann but with the friendly staff we have encountered, I hope that they succeed

Pity

Because of the rating of "Stoni" I have to play just got this challenging course and now I stood in May 2016 closed doors. Man I am angry! I inquired at the nearby Hotel Pullman, here could be no reasonable explanation to me also. Probably the operator is out of money. Too bad about the beautiful square. Hope yet the investment soon open again. The sprinklers on the fairways have been in any case active.

From any web you can see the sea

This golf course is the location, with the view of the sea one of the most beautiful places I've played.
The place is very interesting, is not easy, but a challenge for any golfer.
The Managing Director Mr. Cau is a very friendly and nice person with problems always very helpful, as his whole Greenkeeping staff.
Pleasant is that the place is not so crowded, and you can still really enjoy the game of golf, and the green fee is still in the frame.

Beautiful, difficult

Very beautiful, challenging course with some spectacular downhill tees and some awesome views of the sea.
Hilly and undulating paths, the place is laid out on the hillside. An e-Cart is recommended not only for heat.
Very narrow fairways - here you should play for the joy of playing with the serenity of the holiday and are no scores or lost balls. Not really suitable for beginners and quickly frustrated.
The end of September, most of the first 9 tracks already in the afternoon in the shade of the hill was so despite playing pleasant 29 degrees. We had the course almost to ourselves. The second 9 are also very nice, but less shady and partly directly on the road.
After club membership or handicap we were not asked.
The practice facility is quite sparse. There is a putting green and a small range.
Very friendly staff.
There is no club house, no food, no pro shop.
The place is opposite the resort "Tanka Village" and three minutes by car (highly recommended!) From the hotel "Pullman Timi Ama" s removed.

Exciting Golf Course

A really challenging course, especially the first nine holes, in a very nice area with lots of "look" for the eye. The tracks sometimes with considerable height differences, but what makes the charm of the place then. A precise and straight game off the tee is very helpful.
The care of the place, I can only describe as very good (it was in the two weeks of August, up to 38 degrees).
The staff was very friendly and aufmerksamm.
I would stay here again.

Magnificent views

The first 9 holes of the Tanka Golf Course are horseshoe shaped in hills 150m high, installed. The view across the valley to the sea, as seen in the photos uniquely beautiful. If you take a buggy, not cheap, you can enjoy the view correctly.
After the tenth fairway, a dogleg left, it goes around the mountain.
The discount of 15 fairway, a par 3, is about 80m high above the green.
The course is demanding and sometimes challenging to run a bit tiring but very interesting.

I'm looking forward to this year.
