A delight

Dont be lulled into a false sense of security by the short length of this course! It is constructed around the contours of the Highlands so you will burn calories trecking up and down. However, the climb to the top is well worth it for the stunning views in all directions. Very few bunker hazards, but still challenging for all handicaps. Very friendly welcome and clubhouse bar/food good value.

Beautiful views - up & down!

Very well maintained course and challenging greens.
The constant "up & down" is exhausting and I was glad not to play alone, so I had time to catch my breath.
The views on a clear day - gorgeous - all the way to the Cromarty Firth!
It is "only" a 68 (men 65) place, but demanding!
Its price has doubled to date. An 18-hole round a week is 40 pounds.
Good practice/impact area for chipping and pitching, no range, instead 2 tee nets and just before tee 1 you will find the putting green.
The gastronomy is okay, friendly staff delicious local Scottish beer!

Highly recommended

The maintenance condition of this course is exceptional and even if the green fee has apparently increased in price, it is still worth playing this course.
Playing time about 3 hours, unfortunately many blind holes and hardly any bunkers and water.
The place is relatively short, but if you are in the vicinity you should take a lap

Vintage course with highland panorama

An absolute insider tip! Many differences in height have to be overcome. Tees and greens with fantastic mountain views. Not for East Coast golfer. For golf purists with love for the origins of our sport but an absolute must!

A pearl in the mountains!

Strathpetter, that stands for remarkable golf in the Scottish mountains! The place looks for the views of his peers. Playfully, he requires precision, skill and refinement. Some tees sail high and far to lower fairways, some approach shots must climb high greens. To golf here is just fun! The Back-9 was designed by Old Tom Morris himself. They start with a challenging par 3 and end with a long drive that feels like it's flying down to a long stretch of valley. Anyone in the area should not miss Strethpeffer. Who is not in the counter, should come here. Have fun!

Up and down, never again...

A Highland Square, which has it in itself. Walking a tough job. The webs were mercilessly adapted the landscape, whether the terrain falls horizontally or rises to the sky. No web like another, many requiring blind shots, the most pampered with breathtaking views and all end up on a premium green. If you like golf, combined with trekking, is right here. For me, definitely not the right setup to play golf.
