...which is extremely spacious and very well maintained, with a small village and two good courses - still in the middle of nowhere - surrounded by a lot of forest.
Oaks Course...
...a very open course with wide to very wide fairways - built for the driver, full throttle was the motto. However, the drive distances were sobering, because there wasn't much roll, the fairways were too soft and not freshly mowed. Hitting the fairway bunkers was almost a challenge, they play well.
The greens on the first nine were in bad shape - were informed in the pro shop and by the starter - it seems like they have an active fungus. They were hard and very bumpy, but the speed was okay, but not playable regularly. All of the back nine were freshly sown, so the cut was not yet optimal and the speed was too slow - dull.
A really good resort course - which is easy to play despite its length of 7035 yards - is also the easier of the two.
Cypress Course...
...at the beginning and at the end also a very open course, the rest is difficult and a bit narrow. He has a good layout - partly in the forest - the fairways were better here, not so soft. Water is often involved, have disposed of a few balls.
The greens were in order here - also too slow - they are only weakly modeled.
Despite being the shorter of the two, it's harder to play - the middle section makes up for that.
The distances between the greens and the tees were sometimes small journeys - enormously long - several holes would have space in between.
