Excellent Links Course easily reachable from Karlstad centre

Course (12 Sommarro Links): Links style, built into a river loop of the Kläralven. Greens are in great condition, extremely fast and ondulated. Well-designed and challenging, generous layout surrounded by beautiful nature. Two 6 hole loops, you can play 18 holes for the greenfee.
Directions: huge parking lot, close to Karlstad center and frequent busses to stora torget, also at late times (at least in summer).
Equipment (as of June 2024): everything needed can be bought or rent there, except for golf shoes. I found golf shoes at XXL Karlstad close to university. Most rentable clubs target rather mid to high handicap, but a few clubs are there such that a scratch player can get around with. No cash needed.
