Best golf course in Novo Sancti Petri
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 6, 2017
I play this place for 4 years and I'm looking forward every year to this beautiful course. The area offers some challenges in form of water and many bunkers. Therefore, a precise game is required, which is a lot of fun, even if the score is sometimes not so good. The care condition is of course not comparable with the other two main places Novo Sancti Petri A & B, but for my representation is this absolutely o.k.. The staff is very friendly and uncomplicated and fulfilled the guests almost every wish. Hills is our absolute favorite golf course with a family atmosphere and nice golfers.

Played in 11/24 in sunny weather. Very nice welcome, simple but well-kept course. Nice layout, lots of water, fast greens. Bunkers very hard due to heavy rain, some still damp.
Overall recommended. 3+

This place is really great. Only par 68 and a very short par 3 - under 100 meters, but extremely varied and exciting.
Sometimes it requires very precise playing.
We really liked this facility with its family atmosphere.

A small course that deserves to be played. Very varied and it is noticeable that the front 9 are different from the back 9. The clubhouse has (no) snack bar and no restaurant. If you want to eat something after the round, you have to go somewhere else.

On a par 68 course, one is inclined to say that I don't play the Mickey Mouse course. I felt the same way. Chapeau, this place is worth playing. Although the condition was in an average condition due to the very bad weather of the last few days, the course is versatile, challenging and exciting to play. The various water obstacles complete the package. Definitely worth a recommendation. Play an HCP of 9 yourself. Have fun

Relatively short course that wants to be played - category shotmaker course where you have to play clever. Nicely built into the landscape but not very well maintained, but as I said, whoever plays his handicap here has his game well under control. Definitely worth the trip.

A sporty place that is fun!
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 4, 2017
We went to Andalusia in February this year for the season. The place Sancti Petri Hills was one of our three booked golf courses.
If you are looking for a solid clubhouse, a well-kept and extensive driving range and culinary adventure, should not come here.
The driving range consists of 3 fishing nets and a small putting green. The golf course is in the middle of a residential area, which somehow has its charm.
Apart from the lack of the driving range, the place made me great fun. There are very many water hazards on the pitch, which requires strategic games. The lanes are not very long, but all are beautifully laid out. The fairways and greens were in good condition.
Of our three places, Montenmedio, La Estancia and Sancti Petri Hills, I found this best because I enjoyed it most. Regarding the layout and landscape, this course certainly does not win prizes, but the courses are all the more beautifully designed and it is simply fun - and that's all it takes.
The staff was extremely friendly.

Have fun and challenges
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 19, 2017
I played the place in June 2017 in the Dreierflight the first time. The staff has responded to my request kindly and even picked me up at the hotel. The place was full of challenges for me with HCP32 and so I also tasted some balls. Nevertheless, we had a lot of fun in the game and also success stories. The small distances between green and tee-off, which are criticized by the previous speakers, are available, but they are negligible because of the small number of players. The small number of ball washers could be improved. The place requires more strategy and precision than places in the neighborhood, but I enjoyed more than the wide highways of the surrounding clubs. With the favorable GF one can also still ne pack Lakeballs afford. I will surely come back.

4.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 18, 2017
We were at the beginning of May with the golf group in the Aldiana and have played among other places this place several times.
The negative criticism of individual evaluators I can not understand.
Friendly staff, low price and small place were the place for me (my handicap: 18) to a positive experience. The varied place with very well-kept greens were for us more pleasant than the so-called Starplatz nearby.
The only drawback was the signs for Loch 7 - 9.

Nice place, but not a "must-play"
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 18, 2017
We were there in early March 2017 a week in the area and have played the course two times. On arrival and on departure. This is mainly because of the proximity to the hotel and the relatively short playing time, because the space and the paths between green and next tee are not really long.
That was enough for us too, because the state at that time was not really good in some areas. Due to the strong frequency of tourists who were obviously (especially on THIS space) your etiquette in the hotel room, we found nearly all the bunkers and not raked state. It was the same on the greens, where we have even touched up the first flight in the morning on each green at least 10-15 pitch marks.
Why this happened to be just in this square is the case, has not developed. In other places in the area, this was not the case.
To make matters worse, many distances on the tees were incorrect and also the birdiebook was only moderate help.
CONCLUSION:
Nice place for a fast lap, but not a "must" in the area because there are few better places in the area.

Have again 2 months (mid January-mid March) played with subscription Petri Hills.
Have the impression that more Greenkeeper are used, so the greens were treated twice in the period. Overall, the course condition has improved. The greens were much faster. Good for the operator, bad for the place is the fact a stronger frequenting.
Unfortunately, this leads to more not repaired divots and pitch marks.
I'm sure the general pros in the clubs responsible!!
Unfortunately two Par3 have been simplified and made easier. ME wrong should be reversed (hole 16 and 18).

Also this place we tried here because of recommendations. We found the layout basically interesting, but you realize that money is missing for a reasonable irrigation. End of April, the fairways were unfortunately rock hard and dry. Krass to see was the difference on a path adjacent to the lush green fairways of the adjacent Iberostar course. Too bad, because with a little more grass under the bat Hills would really be fun.
Green fee 35 € ok.

Pleasant surprise
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 11, 2016
Goods last 14 years ago in Sancti Petri. Had then Iberostar and Campano played.. Iberostar we did not play as we are likely to have for 3-4 hours round. From Petri Hills we had not heard before.
After we had checked with Ibero / Campano / La Estancia by Abonos for 2 months we were very pleased with Petri Hills on the very friendly welcome and good advice (German / English / Spanish) and have us despite the shortness of the place good because of range (2-month membership) decided for him.
Have absolutely no regrets. The course is a challange for all handicaps. We 15.7 / 31,5haben the place 2 months (every 2 days) repeatedly played with pleasure. No round was due to the space as the previous designs. We hope the place next year in even better condition (potential exists) to find.
Thanks to Fabricio and his team!

Interesting and affordable alternative to the Nobel plant next door with plenty of water
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 5, 2015
The flat PAR 68 Square within the resort Novo Sancti Petri has it all. Main elements are high pine trees and plenty of water hazards. There are only a handful of holes where no water comes into play. Also, there are some tight haircuts, some doglegs and well-placed bunkers. It never gets boring. Higher HC should be adequately balls with the round. The 7x par 3 holes are all real challenges together and so you do not notice that course with PAR 68 is rather short. One should underestimate it in any case. Although The condition in our Game on 09/18/2015 can not quite keep up with its big brother next door (Iberostar Golf), but was absolutely fine. But the system is not as crowded and overpriced. We could immediately start playing for two without starting time and have even seen a few golfers on the plant. It is operated as a guest of the assistant in the small clubhouse very friendly in German and green fees can be described as extremely low. From 14 clock we paid only € 26,50. A driving range, there is not! I recommend here definitely time to play at least one round.

Where are you?
We spend our holidays in NSP for many years. Two years ago we visited first time SPH and were disappointed that such a beautiful place in such a pitiful state was. We have still not given up in the hope that it gets better. The new operator was sweating and doing. The place has blossomed, the new restaurant recommended, the staff speaks good German now and is very friendly. Exciting
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 15, 2014
We were able to place unfortunately only play once, but by far the most exciting place in Sancti Petri. Lots of water, bunker as far as the eye can see, better try to play as precisely to propose far. Very often the ball lands in the water or in the bunker, so pack plenty of balls.
The fairways were very soft and mushy in good condition, but unfortunately, due to previous rain, the drainage leaves something to be desired. The court makes its name, Hill of all places, play from any position is announced.
The place was pretty full, we had to wait very often as a group in front of us already on the tee late had. Here is a better course management would be desirable, a Marshall could help slow the player sometimes drives something, or the Ballsucherei prevents.

Great alternative to the more expensive places Novo Sancti Petri
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 9, 2014
I agree with the last writers only. After re-opening is how the place in good condition with well-kept greens.
The fairway has Bermuda grass and is therefore often play a little brown, but very good. Who knows the Algarve courses, know what I'm talking about.
The course is short, but due to frequent, frontal and lateral water very tricky, you have to consider at each stroke with which iron / wood to play. A GPS device is also very helpful.
Water has almost all the holes, and therefore not recommended for beginners necessarily. Strategic game is announced which makes the place very interesting.
Moreover, it has some very beautiful distant view of Novo Sancti Petri and the coast.
Unbeatable prices, which attract surprisingly little player.
The special offers mentioned by the writers can only be obtained directly in the office and not on the Internet, so it is worthwhile to call times or just to drive past.

5.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 30, 2013
It is always a pleasure to play this tricky course. Thank God he is re-opened under a new name. We have played the end of September, compared to last year, very good condition, the lakes have water again and fairways and greens are absolutely fine for this season. Unfortunately the signs to the next part tea is very confusing. Not necessarily recommended for beginners, you should already have some balls in the bag. Definitely our favorite place in the area. In September we paid 76 euros for two green fees and buggy! We wish to place a long life and more popular, because on a Saturday afternoon were all three flights go.

4.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 24, 2013
The site has been opened since August 2013 under the name of Sancti Petri Hills under new management again. It is a par 68,4767 meter of white space, which is characterized by narrow fairways and water hazards on almost every hole. This is not a beginner course, even if some of the par 4's are only 240-260 m long. Have fun those who feel the need to whip out the Driver here! then these are the players who complain about having lost many balls here. Course design is very good, some holes are quite close together, so that stray Baelle ever would meet the neighboring fairway. The fairways were in excellent condition, apart from a little sunburn aufder 17, the greens consistently really good. Incidentally, this is a really pretty place visually by a garden-like landscaping. Very friendly staff even if the club house is a shack. a delicious coffee can and the drinks are reasonably priced, as is the green fee. I have a single player incl Buggy just € 50 - paid because THREE weeks before the greens were sanded. I was able to understand exactly 2-hole. Although there is water problems, so that not all water hazards are filled up and the fairways are mostly slightly brown. The whole place is very neglected in nursing, since you from track 10 so looks a very well maintained golf course. There is a lot of trash and debris on the tracks. It is not easy to play, because you also have to run back to talk to get to the next tee. Describe in some because it is missing. The clubhouse is like the golf course. Here I play no more second time.

The place is totally wrong in my opinion Reviewed!
The grass of the fairways is definitely not uncommon in Spain, I've played a lot of places on the Iberian Peninsula verwanden a similar type of grass or mix! At first glance, the place looks so dry but what he is not! The course plays through this grass and its sandy soil almost like a links course and you have to change his game a little, but what makes the golf ineressanter and varied! The square itself, despite its relative brevity of a class layout! A lot of water comes into play and the expansive bunkers can be found on the design here in Germany hardly! I also did not feel as heavy as described the place as there is in Southern Europe completely different caliber! Since the greens were sanded 4 days, costing the 18-hole round at 11.00 clock only 25, - Euro per person! It was pointed out that the fairway of the 17 was re-seeded and marked as blue! I very much hope that operators can bring the beautiful place by the crises!
For me clearly to Novo Sancti Petri A & B No. 3 in Sancti Petri!
The clubhouse, with a very nice lady at the reception is more like a small bar and is not time to find leichjt, but the place with its design, its pine, its bunkers and water hazards landscapes totally convinced!
Again, for me too bad... Reviewed

Very tricky and hard

End of February 2012 unplayable. As partially described very closely, because sometimes very nearly created, with many bunkers and water very precise match necessary. In our game to boot dry and unkempt. 2 carts did not work, driving range? Clubhouse to forget.

Golf course?

Very close and thus sometimes even dangerous place. Squeezed between vacant vacation homes makes the game really is not much fun.
But what is even worse is the maintenance condition! More a yellow Sandacker as golf course (at least in February). Even if the green fee is sometimes extremely cheap, you should rather pay a little more and play on the courts of the Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club real golf.

Passenger space with some very interesting tracks.
Unfortunately, the place is not really well maintained and would tolerate a lot of water and fertilizer.

Water

If you like water, you will love this place. I would go as a beginner or as a player with a certain dispersion in the shock with enough balls on the court.
The course is partially built very close approach to the cottages. Land there already often times balls, which you can see in the depressed garden fences through which golfers gain access to the land.
I personally did not like this place. I found La Estancia and Montemendio much nicer.

Meritorious playing space

As in Dec. 2010 at the Secretariat (hole 10) exercise any option was our group the driving range of "Pactee Golf" (10 min. Ride) was recommended. In Loch1 no preparation, registration and trolley hire is possible. So "well prepared" come on the playing court cost.
