Great layout, magificent views
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 6, 2013
This is an excellent golf course. Great layout with quality greens and good fairways. Has some very challenging holes that use the natural contours well. Great views of Mont Victoire from a number of places on the course, but you get the full monty on the 18th. Stunning.
Nice cafe overlooking the 18th. In July 2013 the hire clubs were poor and the shop was not well stocked so take your own gear. Overall however, it was a great experience.

The whole area has seen better days

Don't be fooled by the beautiful pictures - both the castle / clubhouse and the entire golf course look pretty shabby. The first two holes are not worthy of a golf course. Weeds as far as the eye can see and the bunkers are more like concrete pools. The rest of the course is in a slightly better condition, but the greenkeepers don't seem to understand much of their job. Parts of the place are completely withered, then again you wade through mud and mud, in the bunkers there is partly the water. The second nine holes in particular are very hilly, and the tracks themselves are up and down. A few beautiful views make up for the poor condition of the place. We couldn't use the gastronomy because we were told (on a Monday) at 3 p.m. that they were closing.

Great view...

... from narrow fairways into the distance. Challenging ascent and descent on a very well maintained course (summer 2019). Very nice members.

Golf course with views of the Montagne de St. Victoire
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 4, 2015
Very nice and weitläuffiger place - since the reductions are partially further than usual apart, one makes here a few kilometers more.
But with the wonderful view on the Montagne de St. Victoire you realize this is not (only in the "mountain passes"). It is a very diverse place.
Cézanne was inspired here - is definitely worth a visit (or more) worth!

Some really nice holes...

A neatly gepfleger place with good, sometimes dramatically undulating greens and several very nice holes with spectacular reductions. Secretariat a bit grubby and the employees rather noncommittal. Sometimes long paths between the tees. A bit of good foot you have to be, as some altitude must be overcome. Mir (HCP 10) has made the place a lot of fun.

Recommendable Place

Very varied hilly course with some challenging greens. Well manicured fairways. Ideal for medium-HCP. Little water hazards (2). Reception and conditioning getting a bit old, but very friendly service. Great views of the mountain ranges of Provence.
