Good golf near the city center.

Soft, plenty of real water, bunkers, trees, mostly direct holes, decent greens, almost no people, friendly staff and good price. What else to ask for when you have to be in Zagreb?

Good course for EASTHERN EUROPE

The course was very nice, even they have local rules very different, especially when is a tournament. They were very happy to help me play, even it was a PGA tournament. I was very happy with the golf course and I was appreciated a lot croatian hospitality. It was almost the same as in SERBIA, in ZRENIANIN, near NOVI SAD. The golf course is not very sportive, even it has a few long lines, especially in the first nine holes. A lot of water, and challenging sloped greens. Overall, you may be surprised as good as it is this GOLF COURSE. Did I mention is very close to city' s heart?

Excelent golf facility. 18 holes is really nice one with magnificant view on mountain Sljeme and city of Zagreb. Course is only 10 minutes from center of town.
Food was excelent like everywhere in Croatia

Really good in Zagreb!
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 12, 2024
The 9-hole course is definitely playable and stretches over a manageable area between the driving range and the clubhouse.
This 9-hole course is also well maintained.
The 18-hole championship course is a beautifully laid out and sporty country course. The layout and design are impressive. A good length from the tee is helpful! The 18th green above the stone wall at the water hazard is a real eye-catcher! The very popular club restaurant is sensationally delicious and can only be recommended for food.
As in Slovenia, the staff in Zagreb is very friendly and helpful!
Since the holiday paradise of Croatia only has 2 full 18-hole courses, you should always play the 18 and 9 holes in Zagreb!

A dream day
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 20, 2022
Played a wonderful round on a dream autumn day. Too bad that a couple of little things are missing for the 5th star. The tee boxes are not well maintained, the greens are visually perfect but extremely slow. Otherwise, the place is beautiful, the reception is very friendly and competent, the cars are clean, the restaurant is very nice. Be sure to play.

Beautiful golf day
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 7, 2019
We have a couple on 18.06.2019, played this course and I have to say, it was very nice here, wonderful, a bit warm weather at about 29 degrees and especially little going on, we had neither from the back nor from the front pressure and could enjoy that right.
The course was in great condition, the fairways recently mowed and the greens too, all in all great.
As for the green fee, with about 70 €, we had it, even if, as with us, we had to take a 2 hour drive from our resort on Krk, but anytime again.
I can only say no to the place, even though it has since been renamed Riverside Golf Club.

Really a beautiful place
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 12, 2017
Of course you can not expect a deep greens at temperatures of up to 40 ° C at the beginning of August. But the facilities around the greens partly make a neglected impression. Spinningwebs in front of the ballroom on the range. Connection routes very bumpy.
I will still come back, because the layout is very nice. Almost every track is a lake, which does not make things easier.
The place is very close to the city center and despite the highway near very quiet and it is very little going on. The green fee is very favorable. On Mondays you can play for 30 €! I'll be back

Very nice layout
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 23, 2015
Clear should be the standard of maintenance does not compare with other European capital places, because golf is in Croatia anything but popular sport... so you have to take excessively manicured fairways, weeds and drought to not game-winning points in purchasing. If you have brought the first 3 tracks behind him, disappear the less visually appealing houses at Fairway edge and it opens up to stay longer in the memory of a demanding, nice layout, with the water at almost all tracks comes into play and some holes, The course is located on flat terrain and is easily walkable. Most large, undulating greens are of superb quality and run true. The green fee is cheaper than described above, we paid Saturdays per 380kn for 18 holes.

The course is in very bad condition unkempt (and the end of April), so the name Golf and Coutryclub seems very excessive. Able for passing along the highway would be ideal. Staff is ok

Every time again...
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 21, 2011
The reception is very friendly and courteous. The Driving ranches very generous and with several greens created as targets. The friendliness of the host economy does a little lacking. The square itself is embedded in an excellent condition and really beautifully into the landscape. In short, any time...
