Beautiful course - great value for money
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed December 21, 2015
We were very pleased with the nice lay-out and perfect maintenance of the course. Even as foreigners we obtained low greenfees (Thb 1'000 per person) and the course is really in a beautiful area with fantastic nature. On the contrary the reception area is not very nice and the ladies in charge of greenfees etc are not friendly at all and more interested in watching Television than taking care of customers.

"Skin Tax" policy

Before you decide to check out this course, be aware that it has a separate "foreigner" rate, charging non Thais double price on green fees. My friends and I will continue to boycott this course until it changes its unfair and ridiculous "skin tax" policy. Shame, as it is a challenging and very scenic course.

Beautiful and secluded with a view of the dam

Very nice course, unfortunately a little old. Clubhouse run down. The course was very well maintained and challenging. My caddy wasn't so competent, but my husband's was all the more so. It takes 2 hours to get there from Surat Thani, so not around the corner. Very few golfers, which means 18 holes only take 3.5 hours with buggies. Make sure to bring cash, only green fees can be paid with an international credit card. We didn't reserve, got a T Time straight away and paid 1,200 baht per person (all inclusive). Great view of the dam. We liked the course. Only deduction for the clubhouse.

Very nice varied place

Well maintained course in great surroundings. Quite challenging from the back tees. Great value for money. Absolutely worth a detour. Only because of the aging clubhouse no 5 stars.

Golf experience with jungle feeling

A long way from Khao Lak, but highly recommended. It's a great place with very neat varied tracks. Some haircuts must be played blind, but the caddies no problem (here we had the first and only male caddy). Space can be good to walk, but we are also in good shape and stamina hike in tropics. Being close to the rainforest, the weather can be very changeable in one day and it also attracts every now and fog. But is more mystical than disturbing.
Prices very reasonable. Journey times to and connects it with a tour of the lake Khao Sok. We go back again this year.
