Characteristics
Touted as the ‘Best Golf Course in Myanmar’ and ‘The Pride of Myanmar’, this Gary Player-designed Par-72 7,102-yard course is the latest addition to the golf scene in the country. Opened since 2000, it’s just 15-minute drive from the Yangon Airport and is carved out of the beautiful surrounding in between the Hlaing and Pun Rivers, and hence the name.
Not only does it offer a nice view of downtown Yangon, this golf course boasts of facilities of a very high standard. With well manicured greens and menacing bunkers, fairways snuggling the meandering waters off the two rivers, it also has the vantage point of viewing a beautiful sunset, if all else about the game must fail.

I have played in 2017. Even the traffic to the GolfCourse was the biggest nightmare in my life because of the crowdest bridges ever seen (on 6 continents), believe me : this GolfCourse is astonishing. It worths a visit, doesn’t matter the price! You’ll be really amazed...

Varied, challenging golf course 45 minutes from the city center. Gary Player Design in a very nice blooming landscape. Just completely renovated and in excellent condition. Both for scratch player as well for higher handicaps through the different tee boxes and fairly well playable. Fast, often heavily undulated Gruen constitute a major challenge for the ambitious player. Venue of the Myanmar Open 2017th Very good food in the clubhouse and an excellent spa.
